Rob O'Neill has shown members of the Tribunal a document with frame-by-frame images of the incident. He is arguing that Cameron had 6/50ths of a second to brace for contact, after initially attempting to spoil. He says that action is careless, but not enough to intentionally strike Andrews.
Rob O'Neill is now showing an incident involving Kurt Tippett and Dylan Grimes, which has been graded as careless. He submits that if Tippett's effort was a realistic attempt to spoil the ball or protect himself, Cameron's cannot be classified as intentional/
How do you know that was the message?Apparantly the text he sent him was "Feel sick at the way it panned out. Hope there is no lasting damage. YOu are going to be a champion mate. Jezza"
How do you know that was the message?
If it was, they hould use that as evidence to show that he didn't actually apologised. He basically sayd that he wanted to hit him without the intention to have it that seriousCame up on twitter which I think is sourced from a Herald Sun bit.
He is claiming he was in action of raising fist for spoil, saw Harris half way through, tried to protect himself. Agree with you though. If he was genuinely going for the ball (but he wasn't) his hands would have been raised, not his elbow.
