Has the AFL world overrated Taylor Walker?

Will all mean jack shit if he can't do it when it really matters. True?

He's won 4 finals off his own boot.

He plays one grannie on the opposition's home ground and he's judged. Get effed

Let's all good Buddy overrated if that's the metric

BS comment

Get some perspective you clown

No doubt he had a good game, but it's just that - 1 game. The dark shadow of last year's GF performance will only be diminished with good games in finals...IF the crows make it.

Look at his finals record you idiot

You say let's not judge him on last night's effort because it's just one game

Then a moment earlier decry that he didn't perform in just one game

You're an idiot

Hehe...poor old sainters.

I love Jack ( which sometimes doesnt come across when I rib him in gameday threads) and dont doubt his ability or his success rate with those run around kicks he does, just think its funny he has gone down that path. A sign you dont trust your drop punt. Jenkins does the same.

Just tells me he doesnt trust his left like Walker does.
I don't like it either!
That's the modern game though (apparently).
Blame Stevie J I say...

Went missing when it mattered most. But, to be fair to Tex, I don’t reckon he’s been the same player since he did his knee.

Sent from my iPad using righteous Bhodi manpower

The usual 'goes missing when it counts despite f all service from the midfield' comments. Low and behold, we get some forward delivery and he nails one from 60 to get us back within a kick.
Nailed that goal in the big moment which was good. Must say that from the stands he did not seem to be doing much as a leader on the field at times when the Crows were up against it.

What were his stats in that second half? From the seats it seemed like 3 possessions, 2 marks, and a goal. Should you expect a little more from your onfield leader when the team is blowing a lead and getting run over?

Brilliance from Betts is what got the Crows back into that.

Plant yourself in the back line?

He was playing injured and shouldn't have been selected in the first place. The Crows have the worst conditioning staff in the entire league.
Putting all rivalry and "biased" media reporting aside, do you think that there is an culture of deliberate under reporting of injuries by the Crows? Every team does it I think. As you say Walker shouldnt have played tonight, and the Sloane issue continues to play out.

Shouldn't have played clearly.

No idea why Crows aren't honest with their injury list. Poor Rucci copping shit for no reason..

Why is he putting his hand up for selection?
Is that good leadership?

I know it's in vogue to pot Taylor Walker's leadership credentials but I think the question of whether or not somebody plays should come down to the selection panel. Players always say they are right to go because they are naturally competitive people.

If he knows he is injured why is he saying play me?
