Back in my goog munching days porb around 2005/2006 was lining up at a place in Melb called 161 at around 6am in the morning. Low and behold Chris Tarrant is in the line just ahead of me. I thought nothing of this until I turned on the TV the next day to see him playing against Carlton!!!!!

I had a mate who played for Freo in the late 90's to early 2000's...I Went over and stayed at his place for the weekend in Fremantle as they were playing against my team... My mate was injured so he wasnt playing.. We sat in a bar at the ground before and during the game with two players that were suspended, and a player's girlfriend and got sh%tfaced. In the last 1/4 my mate was hurling abuse from our 3rd row seats at his team mate (who had striking blonde hair who liked to kick goals) saying that everyone in the team hated him and that he was only getting a game because the coach loved him... Gee it was funny... On that weekend I personally witnessed about 6 players using "recreational" drugs in my mates home.. I even drove with my mate to his dealers house with him to pick some up.. I must admit I was absolutely shocked and told him what I thought, and how he was putting at risk his career...
The 1st night I got over there it was a Thursday night.. I was asleep when I heard a bang on the door.. My mate let someone in.. I stayed in bed... It was a team mate of my friends who was absolutely plastered..He punched a hole in my mates wall because he had just caught another player (who has a relative on tv) in bed with his girlfriend..... He went nuts...

On sunday after my team got a whipping we were meant to have a massive p1ss up at this pub they always go to after the game.. I was looking so forward to it... But the coach told them they were on curfew and couldnt go out.. We all ended back at the Full forwards house for Chinese, beers and the Footy replay... Great weekend.. But a bit shocking too...

I've been back to Geelong twice in last 4 months. Both times i went out and both time i saw football players. Both were from different clubs. One was smashed and asking for ciggerettes every 5 mins and this was in the past 4 weeks and he's be playing, he was sucking them down like there was no tomorrow. I don't want to name names or teams but i was pretty surprised.

Seriously... Why do ppl come on here and tell some massive story and then at the end say "but i dont want to name names" unless u actually know the bloke personally then just come out and say who it is. Otherwise you just sound like you're talking crap.

In all seriousness though, I spoke about a player on here once, implying that drugs was one of the reasons that player got delisted. The mods weren't overly impressed, they deleted it all and gave out a few warnings.
I think it is fair enough though, in they end they are protecting both the poster and the website as a whole I guess.
