Re: Hawks confirm appeal - hearing 5:30pm Thursday

The verdict is already set in stone ... he won't get off. Let's just get on with it, only 2 clubs are speaking out on this issue, Hawthorn and Collingwood via Eddie. Thanks to the other 14 clubs for not having the mojumbos to say anything. RIP Aussie Rules.

Because what clubs say in the media is going to have an impact on a tribunal hearing behind closed doors...

The week leading up to round 22 in not the time to be questioning the rules of the game. May have had more of an impact protesting the rules when they were actually brought in.

Re: Hawks confirm appeal - hearing 5:30pm Thursday

we are clutching at straws mate..

we lost this guys... this is bullshit...

i'm pretty upset...

our game is for pansys!

That's what I'm thinking. I hope you guys in Melbourne still show up for the game as I think it will be the best place to vent your anger. Get those banners up and on TV as much as you can. F*ck the AFL, this is OUR game, time to stand up and show them.

Even if we take it to the courts, isn't he deemed to be suspended until there is a final result?

Re: Hawks confirm appeal - hearing 5:30pm Thursday

Free Buddy.

If Buddy doesn't get off. The whole thing is laughable. If he doesn't get off I am going to ring the AFL everytime another player bumps someone asking whether they are going to charged!

Not if we can't get a quick hearing.. You are deemed innocent until PROVEN guilty in a court of law!! Dunkley had to wait two weeks for a court hearing, in the meantime he could play...He lost the case, BUT, he was able to play for that two weeks. I would just love to shove it up the AFL, to put it nicely!
Buddy means more to us than Dunkley did to the Swans..

Re: Hawks confirm appeal - hearing 5:30pm Thursday

Even if you did take it to court, he'd miss this saturday regardless as a court hearing wouldn't be til Monday at the earliest.

This is good news. Take it to the courts and have Buddy play, lol.

He would still be able to play because as someone listed above, innocent until proven guilty in a court of law..

In the long run, they would be better off opening that can rather then further damaging its integrity.:thumbsu:
