As far as I know it doesn't matter if the spots are senior or rookie. Just need enough open to cover the picks.

But even if that is incorrect, it's only a bit over 90 points they are leaving on the table. Nothing to write home about.
They have 32 main and 4 Cat A and 2 Cat B so depends on their list size as it was 48 but should be max 44 which would allow 6 open spots.
Doesn’t matter re points they will love trade for the points once the draft starts.
Freo 34,46 for 26
Lions 39,51,54 for 24
Etc

I'd be pretty sure we could just pay Stephens out and not re-rookie him with our ample salary cap if a draftee too good to refuse came up like Jiath sliding. Or push Wingard to Collingwood.

To be honest the only scenario I see Jiath on the list if he goes through undrafted and we can add him to Bennetts on the Cat B. Otherwise not a strong positional need for our available list spots.

Clearly just angling for something bigger or longer than, say, what we offered to Frenchy for him to extend another two years during his debut season.

Wouldn't worry about it, just will be a bit more expensive than we'd have liked.

So with Dukes elevation how many list spots do we still have open?
I'm thinking 5 to the draft but I might be wrong. Anyone?
