Most of them were fine, like every club they have their knobheads but you get over that.

There were a couple of guys on the top level in the southern stand at the punt rd end that were getting pretty chirpy, in that they could be heard from 50m away, and I couldn't help but wonder how long it would be exactly before they started losing teeth?

As for the guys who moved into a Bulldogs area and started getting stuck in, what a serious error of judgement, how could you not know you were likely to get chinned?

i had no probs with the hawks supporters. if the score was opposite and the dogs were up i would be a bit cocky too. there is nothing wrong with being happy that your team is winning.

Yeah, a few bandwagoners definately have come out of the woodwork. It's good in a sense that we're getting record crowds and memberships, but I wish they could be there in the shit times as well. Oh well, at least I can say I was there when we got 11k, and I'm reasonably proud of my 13 year scarf. As you guys would know from 03, it's not easy heading along each week when your getting pantsed, and I don't think I missed a Melbourne game during the 3 years we bottomed out. Hopefully next time we're down the bottom, we get a few more supporters heading to the matches.

I had no problems with the hawks supporters around me last night. that said, i was sitting in a predominantly bulldogs bay so it wasn't so bad, considering our insipid performance. I had a chat with a guy before the game and we had a decent chat, despite his opposition colours.
Moral: You get morons and you get normal people where ever you go.

I wish I was sitting where you were sitting. The Hawks around us were arrogant pricks who think they have it all won already. Didnt mind the hawks before tonight but now I really do hope that Geelong smash them in GF.

was outside at half time. would have loved to drop these smart cocky hawk drongos mouthing off telling us to go back to centrelink!!!!!!!!

Guys got some bad news for you all

If we fluke a win next week and play the cats the week after you aint seen anything more "FERAL" then an arrogrant cat fans after a flag

For all who went to KP this year you know what we are talking about

Whoa bigfella7, ease up a bit. Us hawks fans don't need you to have a short fuse. I understand that you are a bit pissed off at your team losing, champ but there really isn't any need to have a dig.

Good to see that you had a great time around the hawks fans, wian.:thumbsu:

Is it just me, or does segregration (sp?) mean separating two groups into completely different areas? I didnt realise it meant 2bays of Hawks, 2 bays of Bulldogs etc. Would it not have made more sense to have a Bulldogs end (Punt Rd, where the cheer squad was) and a Hawks end (ponsford)???

Instead, the Bulldogs cheersquad is surrounded by 4 bays of Hawks members, and vice verca at the other end. I dont understand the rationale.
was weird how they did that friends wanted to be near hawk cs but ended up vertually next to dog cs though around areana looked good 2 rows of gold and brown 2 rows of blue red and white but near cs should have been all of that team supporters .

all doggies near hawk cs were good :thumbsu: no fights that i saw

agree cat fans are feral maybe 1 or 2 that are not but just go to bay 13 pull up geelong_crazy26 threads off his face totally feral as

Most of the fans around me started booing Aker when he put his hands in the air and celebrated a goal he snapped maybe in the 3rd? when you were well down, it wasnt like 'c'mon boys, lets make a run now', it was more 'what a goal' type celebration.
quote]

CRAP. The ones around me were booing in the 2nd quarter before he'd even kicked a goal. Probably because the Hawthorn supporters are so up themselves he's the only Bulldogs player they recognised. He kicked a goal AFTER they began booing him.

why the hell were there hawk supporters in the doggies cheer squad? i didnt get that.. BTW the hawk supporters around me were ********s, bagging the shit out of us and how we failed our homework.. kinda funny thing to sya but if i was 4 years older and 20 kilos bigger i woulda told him to STFU
hawks in your cs ? the bays of cs don't go all the way back we had a lone dog behind ours maybe more saw him before game was i seeing things but did quite a few leave before end ? we are not allowed to leave till final siren , mind you i would not and have never in the past left before final siren .
hope i was seeing things

i cant really tell if ure being a smart ass coz the way u are writing is confusing me.. but ill just pretend ure not.. anyway the hawks i saw in the cheer squad were right at the front of the doggies cheer squad, it was wierd.. btw i stayed the whole game

Did anyone hear good ol' soap hating, dress wearing,Jimmy from Hawthorn.Patronising effort tonight from dear old Jimmy,I'd say he was drinking his own bath water . Then again Jimmy and bathing wouldn't be common:thumbsdown:
missed his call but heard others giving it to him what he say was it bad ? in the way of poor sportsmanship sort of stuff ?

Good to hear that you too worked their supporters out, talk about a bunch of arrogant bandwaggoners, how bout that game against port when they got 15,000 people at the G' a few years ago.. Last Saturday night they were sooking bout the ump's all night, even tho they were 10 goals up.. How pathetic, and about how unfairly BUDDY is treated, boo hoo.
silly umps were bad both ways don't be so one sided you can not see that !

gotta love the way they cheer and respect ********************************************.
careful do you want this site closed down ?
no one knows who or what club in trying to say what club you could be up for slander or this site sued for a lot of money ! i don't want that nor do the mods or other posters stop with this alluding to us that way ! you then wonder why some supporters have huge digs at other supporters when they post cr#p like that

AKA is AKA he gets booed by all for what ever reason

I will be supporting the Hawkers once we are out of the finals - (which should be any day soon). I think that after Melbourne your guys are the best supporters.:thumbsu: I can handle a little arrogance - with good humour - after all like us you have been down awhile:thumbsu:

They probably went in there to shit stir when the result was beyond doubt. That's what a lot of them are like. There's a reason they're disliked, it's not just BigFooty. Biggest smartmouths when they're winning, nowhere to be seen when they're losing. Which is good for us because they don't beat us too often. :)
won't get the chance to beat you you are out of finals is that right -by the way we are not all arrogant when at the footy that we give it to the supporters i may if you leave early give you a wave and a goodbye that would be it i will give stick to players that i did not like what they did etc earlier or in the past so stop tarring us all with same stick roo supporter

[ i may get cheeky on bay 13 but that is what that is for ]

wasn't being a smart @ss so you know bad form for hawk supporters to go and try an d make trouble in opposition cs if you ask me .

good on you for staying till the end , i did when we got flogged by all 2003 onwards it is depressing but i would rather show my support to the team cause they have no choice but to stay when they would probably rather curly up in bed after a bad game so i alway stay .

did not mean to confuse you

I gave to the charity which is North Melbourne at the start of the year, and have regretted it since, as we have had nothing but North Melbourne supporters trolling our board - such as the Sweet Left Foot and Giantroo. Not to mention some farmer dude last night. It will be interesting to see what their 'membership numbers' are like next year:(
