Hawthorn were soft tonight - SOFT. Played like they didn't want to get hurt, stupid handballs, going to ground and running themselves into trouble. Their decision making was ridiculously bad. I saw both rucks try and grab the ball off the ground, stand up and then kick directly into a Hawthorn or Sydney player's body at least 5 times. People can complain about the umpires all they want, but they don't affect the effort of the players....

gave them a start. again. this has to stop. its become an ingrained habit and it cost us hugely tonight.

was one of those games where things seemed to go against us.
- umpiring decisions
- kicking for goal
- balls bouncing the wrong way
- momentum killing decions, kicking etc etc.

Regroup, go again.

I don't like singling out a player but Brad Hill turned the ball over almost every single kick.

Seriously I reckon he cost us 3-4 goals at least.

One of the more woeful performances I've seen. If he is going to WA can he at least switch on for the remainder of the year for us. Just terrible kicking, zero tackling and just grrrrrrrr...

Is this the part where we are supposed to be all grateful for the nsw acadamy. I mean, like without that he wouldn't have been in the afl and even though he went to a top 4 team, when he should have been a top 5 pick, at least we get the joy of watching him beat our team?

Amen. He has been hopeless for a long time but is inexplicably still picked each week.
