AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Struggled big time.3rd week in a row. I think you read the stats sheet too much.
Context - you have no concept of it. I swear you watch the game on the AFL website and just keep refreshing the stats page.
Bad luck with your injuries. You had the bad luck to catch us after the loss to *, so it was a doubly difficult task. I have a soft spot for the dogs and I hope Bevo can get you back into the winning circle in September.Congrats on the win today guys. Best of luck for the year ahead.
How about just better than the restfinishing better than the rest
I was just saying how amazing it is that, Hodge made everyone look second rate, but still there were others that you would give three votes on any other dayScrew that fantasy points crap even a blind person could see hodgey was miles ahead of everyone
True true i understand what you're saying. Still expect the 3 votes to go to c judd lolI was just saying how amazing it is that, Hodge made everyone look second rate, but still there were others that you would give three votes on any other day
Yes, I watch football on the TV, with the sound turned off and with a Tablet on my lap so I can keep an eye on the stats. Not cheap uncontested possession stats, but like Hodge and Langford today, the contested ball.
Lewis: 41 poss, 7 contested, 4 clearances, 7 clangers, 61 DE
Langford: 26 poss, 18 contested, 8 clearances, 5 clangers, 81 DE
How am I reading those wrong or out of context please?
Agree with everything you said great postPositives: Basically all players had a good run. Hodge obviously, really liked Ceglar's game and Puopolo before he got subbed out. Duryea was strong and Roughy just huge. 2 Hawthorn players getting 40+ disposals, never seen that in my lifetime.
Negatives: Potential injury to Poppy, Suckling and Breust been spending too much time doing their weekly sport challenge and not enough time preparing for the game. Suckling was lazy and didn't do anything defensively, and Breust just kept being caught and didn't feel he had a good one. Langford kept getting caught, Lewis' disposal I50 has just sunk down low. Rioli's goalkicking needs a tune up.

We just won a game by 70 points and we had about a dozen players play games worthy of Brownlow votes. Enjoy it, don't waste your time and energy biting each others heads off.
In Rd 1 he seemed to be trying to shoot every time he got the ball within 50 no matter the percentages - started happening a bit this game too. He does seem to be doing the run with stuff with Shiels out so he's not as noticeable in the middle though.
Leigh Matthews and Dennis Cometti only now seeing the Rioli Marks
Hodgey went beastmode alrightA good game, but still a far cry from what we're truly capable of. Hopefully we blew out some cobwebs.
Good to see Whitecross back and Hodgey is a beast!
Anyway, good luck with it all. Never put a Hawk on ignore before.
