rundown of my team -

backs - Lots of experienced KPP players with some youthful run of half back with ryan griffen and lindsay gilbee.

midfielders- pendlebury, voss, van berlo, cousins with lots of class, ball, west, lappin add some hardness.

rucks - lade and hille, experienced ruck combo.

forwards - key forward with lucas, tredrae and neitz, rodan and didak are more then handy in fron of goal plus murphy, a good hit up target. very potent.

bench- Hille, Young, Lappin, van Berlo. lots of depth on the bench. lappin AA player + youthful mids and a solid 2nd ruckman

delisted would have it if not for a really weak ruck combo

yeh I agree, I liked Delisted team, especially his mids, but Laycock and Wood doesn't scream dangerous when teams like quicksilver83's has charman and mcintosh, although he does have kosi who could pinch hit in the ruck. Cheers for voting on your favourite teams guys, its some good/interesting feedback because it took a while albeit a fun time to get these teams together.

Final Team (sorry for the lateness)

B: Chaplin Firrito Mackie
- Chaplin: young KPP who can match up on talls and mids, good agility for someone his size.
- Firrito: hard nut full back who can provide run out of the back line. Never stops trying.
- Mackie: outstanding season and potential all-australian backman. Versatile player who can play wing or forward too.

HB: Shaw Polak Montagna
- Shaw: tough as nails, young and another potential AA (notice a trend?) who is damaging with his run off HB and can also play a good defensive role.
- Polak: young KPP who has had a solid season with the Tigers since coming across from the west. Good at reading the play but needs to work on his defensive ability to be a true quality CHB. Can switch it up and play forward too.
- Montagna: not as recognised as Dal Santo or Ball but has had a better season than both in my opinion. Great rebounder off HB and good pace.

C: Cooney Crawford(VC) Johnstone
- Cooney: former no1 draft pick, dangerous goal-kicking midfielder, good size and future leader for the bulldogs.
- Crawford: provides leadership to the team and can run all day.
- Johnstone: good user of the ball and can get plenty of it.

HF: Deledio Riewoldt(C) Ablett
- Deledio: former no1 draft pick, has shown he can play back, middle or forward, kicking some goals late this season. Good user of the ball.
- Riewoldt: another former no1 draft pick, potential AA and one of the top 3 CHB's going around. Excellent leadership.
- Ablett: tall option up forward, still developing but highly touted.

F: Petrie Lloyd Ebert
- Petrie: can pinch hit the ruck and can kick bags of goals as well as move down to CHB.
- Lloyd: leader and another tall to stretch the defence. Has had a decent 2007 season.
- Ebert: potential AA forward pocket, has been elusive up forward, can crumb and take a good mark for his size.

R: McIntosh Jones Edwards
- McIntosh: potential AA and one half of a strong ruck combo. Has been in awesome form this year, just falling short from Cox.
- Jones: developing in and under player who plays a bit like Foley. Tries hard, can kick a goal and extract from the middle.
- Edwards: clever veteran who would be close to AA. Very hard to stop and gets plenty of the ball, normally using it to the teams advantage.

INT: Charman Boyd Bate Simpson
- Charman: good ruckman, young and can be thrown up forward to replace one of the many tall forward options.
- Boyd: underrated, gets plenty of the ball and has stepped up this season for the Bulldogs.
- Bate: young and still developing. Tall, running winger/forward who can take a mark and kick a goal. Can also be used down back.
- K. Simpson: future leader of Carlton, gets plenty of it and runs hard. Hasn't got the body to be an inside midfielder but plays well when used on a flank.

So as you can see, some former no 1. draft picks, a few potential AA's, plenty of young developing players and some older players who have had a good 2007 season. Highlight would be the forward line is tall with good crumbing options and rucking combination (McIntosh, Charman and Petrie). That's all folks haha

melbourne ticks all the boxes, 3 talls at each end, spare tall on the bench who plays both ends, midfield depth and strong ruck division.. Id be tipping a melbourne V fremantle grand final with dockers getting over the line, but i may be a bit biased..
