You rarely (if at all) see threads STARTED by Carlton, C'wood, Essendon or Richmond fans about their rivalry with each other and whether it exists or not.

Yet you lot continuosly infect this board and others with anti Essendon jibes. Desperately trying to get noticed and so, so keen to be included.

As I and OB1 said - hate us all you want if you like.
Its nice that you care so much.

We simply don't care as much about you as we do other clubs.

Home games versus your bunch of nancy boys have become a liability since you started losing and all of your bandwagoners dropped off. I still remember the game earlier in 2006 - the one where Monfries made a goose of himself and Williams kicked the winner - sure it was rainy and all you Bomber softies prefer to sit inside, but it was still poor form that NONE of you turned up.

Plus you're forgetting that, like Essendon, we've also sold our souls.

One of the main reasons for hawfforn throwing out the begging bowl was your piss poor support, IE, everyone ********ing off after the glory years, and even then your home and away crowds were a disgrace, some of those Princes Park games !!!! I'm not sure about your analogy. Arsenal are closer to the top of the ladder, whereas Essendon finished equal last in 2006.

I see your point about rivalries, it's just that I don't think you've understood mine. Your concept of rivalry is borne of the fact that most Pie fans and Bomber fans are of lower intelligence than others. God bless them, they love their footy, but they are easily duped by the marketing and hype that surrounds these games. They feed on the glossy Herald Sun lift-outs. They send in poems comparing Hirdy and Bucks to our ANZAC day heroes. They get together with all of their family and friends on the Blockbuster Days, just like most other families get together over Christmas.

I think you should probably stop replying now hey. you've missed the point and the whole thing reeks of insecurity. Seems you need a rivarly that bad that your abusing other teams supporters because they dont value you as a rival. Personally I absolutly hate losing to the blues and pies just because thats what Ive been brought up with and as someone already stated its something to do more so with the arrogance factor from each of our clubs.

...and to Essendon fans who don't know want to acknowledge any rivalry, i am sure a highlights video of Brereton running thru the Essendon huddle, or decking Van Dud Har, Brereton/Duckworth battles, or Vandenberg line in the sand, Dipper elbow on Stoneham, 2005 GF brawl, 2004 GF comeback from Essendon, Matthews and the point post.....etc....etc.....etc...might start to jog some memories for those old enough to remember!
