Its ok, I think Bond may have a little suprise coming his way....
What you going to dob me in for a red card because I think Heathcote were getting a little too far ahead of themselves?
Heathcote got the win but Colbo would have got more out of the lose than Heathcote out of the win. A week off and thinking they have it won will cost them big time on Sat and all the $$ they spend next year wont buy back the 2008 cup!

you still shedding tears over that bond? that would explain why the ground was so wet on saturday.....

He must have been crying a lot as it pelted down. The ground held up quite well though all things considered. Hopefully we get a nice day on Saturday and some good games of footy out at Huntly.

The centre wicket area may get a bit hard. Had a look at the ground yesty and there was plenty of water laying in that area. I am sure the boys at Huntly will be on to that though

Tool of the year right here:thumbsu:. Sounds like your the one thats getting ahead of themselves champ... Stop trying to stir shit add something constructive or p!ss off.

bond,you are a f***k head.

well done to colbo, good win in the rain. locky boys dont seem to do all that well in the wet.
biscuits was doing stats from under the pavillion with a few frothies and it turned out matt jackson got more goals than knight got kicks!:D

on a much more important note, id just like to put in an order for 6 pork rolls on saturday. they were delicious! well done huntly boys. :thumbsu:

I heard there might be teams training on the huntly ground this week , any truth to this , i would have thought considering the weather and condition of ground they would want to give the ground a rest for the big one this saturday.

Our 2's went for a walk around but did not train on it for that reason. The condition of the ground is very important for the day so we want to give the Huntly Footy Club the best opportunity to have it in the best possible condition

Huntly ground looked good on saturday, those who played on it, how was it? It looked a little sticky in the middle and slippery at times obviously due to the rain.
Does anyone know if Millar is able to play this week? His head was crushed by either baker or the ruckman for LBU. Some disturbing noises were reported to be coming from him directly after it happened. He apparently was unconscious for quite a while.I also see that Nick Packer went off early in the game?? Any info on those two boys?

Knight didn't do much but neither did Jackson. Jacko kicked a good goal lurking out the back, but other than that didn't see much of the footy.

The assumption boys went well for colbo. Miller will be right for the final this weekend

Must agree the huntly ground was in good knick after all the rain - soft on top, but solid underneath. The carparking was also well done and very organised...

Colbo by 4 goals

the huntly football club must be so grateful to mounts 2s for giving them the opportunity to achieve this.

You know you need permission to train on the ground don't you Roota? Would be disappointed if a team trained there without asking the home club first? And we have a couple of junior teams in the BJFL finals training on it anyway.

The ground has held up really well. We put a lot of work into it this year, especially early on when it was dry. The middle is sticky, but we had it rolled last Tuesday and if need be, will do it again. Considering the shocking weather we are happy with it.

And it would have been wet yesterday because it hailed and rained. ;)

We really appreciate the positivity about the final. We hadn't held one for a few years, and a lot of work was put into gameday during the week, and from 6am on the Saturday.

There won't be pork rolls this weekend. Sorry Farva!! They were very nice though. You'll have to wait until we get a final next year.
