Crocky AKA David Boon goes well, hard at it good skills very long kick and can play both ends and in the middle. Unlucky to miss last years grannie but should be a good recruit for Stanhope. Great bloke off the field as well. Loves the sauce!

Angry angry man. Good bloke but doesnt mind a bit of a scruff.

Was up the high country with a few ex-elmorians and they think the bloods will go back-to-back. Speaking of Elmore its Benny O'Sully's 21st tonight, happy birthday mate. I wont be able to attend as I've been lazy and havnt done any work so its going to be a bloody long weekend.

On the Crons thing, Good bloke can play good footy but prob just doesnt have the match winning ability when in the ones and he isnt accountable. Great 2s player but dunno how he would go in the 1s. Goodluck at YCW. How'd you go today Roota?

Yep it was great Doona,The Pyalong boys had a great float from the shirt lifters procession from the other week in Sydney:D:DI must say they looked the part on the float:D:D

Seems the grand final parade went against both Heathcote and Pyalong who unfortunately couldn't get the job done, Broady lost the A's but how did Roota's mob go?

Was it all cricket on the weekend lads or did some clubs have practice games?

Hey Doona what's going on with ya transfers coming into the club. Have you got any or are you gonna submit a stack in one hit and show them Heathcote dilberries that the premiership might just not be the forgone conclusion they have been lulled into believing.:p

When I get some to submit I will lodge them :(

Hey RWB, had a few froffies with Horn at the Shammy in Echuca Sat'dy nite. He reckons its about time you got rid of the "please dont retire hornet" footnote you have at the end of your posts, says you've taken the relationship just a bit far and its embarrassing him. He reckons the only way he's gunna play this year is if your running around with him.:D

So the Horn will run water whilst RWB delivers the messages?

How far is too far Moosz? Might have him on a technicality as Doona has pointed out!

With all this earlier talk about club's not being able to participate if they didn't feild a 3rds I'd love know thoughts on the situation should it be not field a 2's team? For the record it is looking at this point as if us (yes Broadford) may not have enough for a 3rds team.

Reason I ask this is that is was apparently stated at last night's HDFL meeting by an EFC delegate that at this stage Elmore may only have enough players to field a one's team . . . . surely it was just a crank

Let's hope it was just a crank, would be shameful if it was true. In regards to the thirds Doona, you quite often get e few latecomers just before the season starts as you probably well know. How many have you got? I know that we have 15 or 16 for the U16 comp, not sure about the thirds numbers.
Just to let you know as well, Heathcote got over Miti last night by around seven goals, the seconds went down by a point.

Was a good hitout for the boys last night. Few good signs and few things to work on. Not sure that the score really mattered. One thing to come out of the twos game is look out full backs for 2008. The big boc choy is back!!! kicked a lazy three in the first quater then dished of to his partner in crime up forward....BIG WAL for the rest of the game.

This is very sad to hear to be honest. Broadford have been the bench mark in the thirds for how many years now. I can understand Elmore situation thou, there is more pages than this tread for transfers out of elmore on the HDFL website. I know there has been alot of crap spread about unhappy players out there, hence alot leaving, but can someone from elmore or maybe even one of the blokes who have left that team shed the truth on why such a large number of players have shifted camp!

Oh Ump and Horn, Will have the Mobile phone with me all day tomorrow, or will be at home, Unless I'm at the pub with RWB and Spud. Oh and Ump, He who laughs last laughs loudest.:DHAHAHA:D:p:eek::pPoor Fool:p

With a capital W Fanto!:D Relevance to this thread, 10 out for the Saints Wednesday, not counting the Hornet.

Alright boys give it to me,been up north working all week. I did not hear the game but i was told Richmond got a fair run with the Ump's:pAnd the newspapers making a big thing of Fav having a twinkle that would have upset him before the game:rolleyes:But then again it must be the in thing HEY Tiger supporters:D

I read on www.********************** that Nick Redenbach is moving to QLD and going to fly back to play games for Broadford... that's a big commitment! Must be rapt with that Doona??
