Whats everyones thoughts about Sam Hill from Colbo? played for us a couple of years back and is a chance to come back... but has put a massive price tag on himself... is he worth the money? thought he seemed like a good bloke but have heard otherwise from a few people... is he the sort of bloke u would want at your club?

Highly doubt it, lives and works in Elmore, mates with every1 and has a tab at the pub. Loves playing at Elmore and the only chance he'd move is if Elmore lose heaps of players including Ryno Hayes
Bluey is on board as OTM said, he's already started recruiting and you wouldnt do that if you havnt got the job.
Silly is an awesome bloke and any club is lucky to have him, might b lucky enough to bring a few mates with him. Worth every $$, carried colbo's forward line this year and I have seen him play as a rover and dominate the match.Thought he wanted to play with all his cousins so I thought he'd play at hopper land in 07. Speaking of Colbo, lose Seth Hill to assumption (like all Hills, go to assumption around year 10,11) and also heard Sam Vale might head to assumption (not sure bout this 1) would b a big lose for Colbo, 2 good young players (15 and 16) that both played seniors this year.

Definitely agree with that very good bloke and a gun player probably was Colbos most important player along with Lock all year.
Lee McKenzie of Broadford is a young gun player and will be pushing for a 1s permenant spot next season for Broadford. He has got some good height on him. He is one the best players you will ever sell some candy to get past an opposition player
Well how stupid is that. What a waste of time and money.
If Mounts do get some of these blokes back then might as well not play the next season.

Enough of all the talk of elmore and their recruits. They have not won a flag since 1982 ?. They spend all their money on players with no heart and soul. winning to them is how big the envolope is after the siren. Having the best team on paper and in August is elmore's way of winning

dukes06 you obviously dont know anything about the boys at elmore so why would you write such bull ******** about them having no heart! they let themselves down in this years g/final although they played with plenty of heart throughout the year so get your head together and post threads that are worthy for us too read. ie players switching clubs? etc..
Back to back premierships would allow mounts to be a little bit cocky wounldn't you think? Add to that 9 premierships since 1990 plus 3 runners up and 8 seconds flags in the same time. They may not have won the last 50 flags, but they have been the most successful side in the last 50 years.

It would entitle Mounts to be confident to come up again but they have had to toil very hard for the past two Premierships not finishing on top either year so I wouldn't publically say that's it's not worth the other sides playing but each to their own.......

any word yet on who or when the two remaining cubs have or will announce as coach??? i'm guessing that although they have advertised it, which is standard procedure, the bloods already have bluey on board, and carts will stay at mounts, but not much has been said about heathcote or locky's coaching or recruits for that matter.
also any truth that webby and shannon hayes are both fair chance to head to YCW for the forthcoming season???

Also, I was wondering how a young ruckman who Heathcote picked up from Tyntynder went this year - Jade Kinaldy (spelling?) or something like that.. Apparently was on an absolute packet..

spoke to webby today YCW are one of four clubs chasing him, but he hasn't decided if he's leaving mounts yet, just seeing what the other clubs have got to say.
I havnt been on since monday and I come on and have to read a whole lot of crap and Elmore beating, this thread is becoming like the Bendigo thread, 4 or 5 people talking s h i t that people dont want to read, keep this thread half decent and start talking about player movements and coaches etc.
