He was at $21 prior to the NAB cup. $11 is way too short when you're up against Swallow.

I dont think Swallow will win the award. Although everyone has touted him to win it, i just haven't seen enough from him to be able to say he is clearly a standout!

Was really impressed how he backed back into Dawes in the NAB cup final, shows he has some ticker and is not all flash.
Really think he will be a good player for Essendon, just need to give him a good defensive grounding then in a couple of years think he will be a AA standard type half back/winger.
I'm on him for the Rising Star so good luck to him.

Swallow will only need a couple stand out games and the media will pump him up for weeks on end.
watch out for shuey. If he plays 22 games will beat swallow.

Just saying if if somebody told me from the future that shuey played 22 games in 2011 i would be going down to the tab and placing a massive bet as we speak.
Swallow is not a certainty no matter how impressive he has been so far for the Suns. This time last year people were saying that Dustin Martin was a certainty, no one thought of Hannebury. Heppell is as good a chance as anyone.
Dustin Martin would've won it, if it wasn't for the suspension he copped, but still agree that Heppel should do well.
Good point about Martin, but Nic Naitanui was also all the rage this time last year, and he got nowhere near it. Another one to look for is Polec, if he does well the media will lap it up.
