Not sure what do with my back-up ruck division now that Kreuzer and Hampson are both injured. Although, both are only out for 1/2 weeks maximum so I'm thinking of keeping them in the team and relying on Cox and Simmonds to play round 1 which it seems they both will!. Any other rookie rucks worth considering?.

Kreuzer injured? do u have a source aslo if he is i might consider dropping him for meesen which will leave me with a useful $40k

By the way, rucks make terrible Cashcows... So missing round 1 ain't a big thing...

ah k thanks mate, i might go back to my original combination of hampson and meesen, ive heard that hes been training hard and should get a game

Yeah i think its risky, but i didn't like the backs this year, there is only a handfull at the top i like, and dont like alot of the mid range backs, so i thought thats the position i would take my risk in.

My backline reads Cornes, Gilbee, Neman, Johncock, Nicoski, proud, Hansen.

Its not completely talentless but i can see that it is a risk.

Yep, you can change them week to week. Also your bench and emergencies.

Cornes/Bowden imo worth the extra cash compared to Gilbee/Burgoyne.

Definitely worth it imo.

If players on your bench not playing in your team but do play in the round their price does go up then. As I have some highly touted players on my bench in the midfield but arent expected to play until rounds 2 or 3 should I get rid of them for players that are going to play.

I have C.Masten from the West Coast Eagles but isnt expected to play round 1 as I have found out. not sure why. Can any one help me out here.

One thing to remember, is that if you want to trade your cash-cows in, you need to have players to trade them into.

I'm hoping players like Masten and Cotchin start playing in round 4-5, so that I can cash in a few Cows into them after they have played 2 games.

Your backline needs more help. you might even consider trading Goodes down to a rookie. You might be able to trade up Jones and Harlett if you did that.

Seriously, I was leaning towards BJ. But I'm really not sure.

Ummm nah not really.

BJ is another year older and no one knows how the Dogs will go this year.
You'd think the Cats will be right up there again this year so that will make it easier for Chappy to score well.

Honestly, I think he has done enough to suggest that he will step up this year...
Dunno if I would go as far a "rip it", but he certainly should improve.
