Actually i think the team as a whole lacks a real leader. There's no Brown or Kirk or Pav or yes even Harley (best captain in the comp).

Actually i think the team as a whole lacks a real leader. There's no Brown or Kirk or Pav or yes even Harley (best captain in the comp).
Ling is the best tagger in the competition at the moment. But Kirk had a better season then him. So if a tagger spot is awarded in the team it should go to Kirk.
I think that makes sense.
That's cause the interstate teams are very average this year and not many players really deserve it.
Adelaide: Bock - certainty.
Brisbane: Black - should get in. Thats it.
Fremantle: Pavlich - should get in. Sandilands - I don't rate but will probably make it.
Port Adelaide: No one.
Sydney: O'Keefe might make it.
West Coast: Dean Cox - certainty.
2 certainties and 6 at most.

Judd and Ling??? Boomer Harvey in the forward pocket??? Enright and Murphy are lucky. Simon Black really faded in the second half. Surely one of Medhurst or O'Keefe should've made it (move Harvey to the mids and getting rid of Ling creates a forward spot).

I'd have Medhurst just ahead of Johnson or Murphy.
Ling should be in for sure, kills his opponent week in week out. But agree Selwood unlucky to miss. K. Cornes? No way.. Had a better season last season. Might get a lot of possessions because he's got a good tank but his disposal efficiency is poor and he turns it over a bit.
That's fair. Mitchell does deserve a spot, but so does Ling. Not sure about Black and Judd though. Swap them two for Mitchell and Selwood and I think the team is pretty good.
O'keefe and Pav deserve a guernsey also, however it's very hard to make room for them.

LOLOLOLOL Corey might lead the comp in possessions but how many of them possies have been uncontested? Judders is class through and through, leads the comp in contested possessions and has had no support to Corey. Judders cops the number 1 tag every week while Corey is usually allowed to roam free.
Corey I would say is nowhere near him and the level of Bartel and Ablett and I would probably rate him lower than J. Selwood too. Mitchell, both McVeigh's and Lukey Power had a better year than Corey. Corey was lucky to even get a spot on the pine.
I think he's just one of those 'good players in a legendary team who looks 100 times better than he actually is' players.

Which players do you think should have gotten in? I'd say the only one with a chance was Medders and Didak. Both were pretty unlucky not to have been chosen.
Hmmm... he did when our B&F in 2005 when we had an average season.

Ah, Corey is 6th in the leage for contested possessions.
Sam Mitchell should be in way ahead of Ling, Black & Judd and probably vice-captain if Harley doesn't get in. Hille ahead of Petrie and a few others and Franklin is not a forward pocket. It's like calling Wayne Carey a HFF. This is why the Herald Sun always gets it wrong

Switch Judd for Sam Mitchell. Infact Mitchell should be captain.
How can they put Brent Harvey in the forward pocket. He is the 2nd best player in the league. Chuck Ling on the bench, get rid of Black, put Boomer on the wing, put Davis in the team and get rid of sub Richo for Robert Murphy. Also chuck Newman into the team and get rid of Sam Fisher.

Yeah and now he's been surpassed by a lot of your players and is now being made to look better because of it. I just honestly believe Ablett, Bartel, Selwood and Ling are more important to your team than Corey.
Yeah it was just my Collingwood hate coming out
