Sydney finished well last week and right in it this afternoon.
Playing well considering their outs.

Warm day and kicking with the wind. They should be much further behind though.

Good quarter from Geelong with pressure - amazing amount of smothers. Just couldn't capitalise.

Crockett-Grills and Parry very much part of the senior group that stunk it up on Tuesday. Today they were huge, (JCG particularly early) and made all the difference in the world.

And yet the win was still typical of Geelong's season, with the 5.14 scoreline and whatnot.

The hawks player who went off on a strecher, was involved in a collision. Watching it from a distance, it seems like the freo player hit her in the head with her shoulder in a marking contest? I could be wrong, not sure exactly what happened.

Freo player was going for the mark, hawks played ran into her shoulder from behind. (not sure if the freo player knew she was there).
Hawks are now 3 players down in the heat.

Freo should be instant DQ'd from finals if they don't win this. Could hardly dream of a more advantageous set of circumstances than what's been laid out for them today.
