All these Hawks supporters seem to think that they owned us this year since they were the only team that we didn't beat, and imply that had we played them in the finals, we could have lost. Well, the fact of the matter is, if the Hawks didn't lose by 90 odd points in the last round of the season, they would have finished fourth and played us in the qualifying final. Did they? No.

Walker, if he is as good as Carlton fans seem to think, should be in the league's top 10. He isn't. Not even in the league's top 150. He is surviving on potential, nothing more. Simpson is no world-beater either, so don't think he'll get you into the finals. Hawthorn already has enough ruckmen. If we made a play for Kreuzer I'd be annoyed. A first year ruckman won't get you to the finals anyway, which is the point I was making.

Just to summarise:

Carlton won't make the finals in 2008.
They've wasted their number 1 draft picks on injury prone players and squibs.
Kruezer is 3 years off being a decent player, if he can actually handle AFL.
Judd could be injured all year.
Fev is the most tempremental player in the league besides Richo, so he won't be winning the coleman again, it's was a slow year that year.
Walker and Simpson would probably struggle to get a game at most top 8 clubs.
I'm quite a good footballer on my day.
Oh yeah, and Hodge is better than Judd.

It's close between the two. Judds got the leg speed, but hodge has accuracy, good kick at goal and can win the hard ball. Hodge at his best this year kicked 6 goals and had 34 touches. I cant see judd getting any better in a shocking midfield or winning premierships in a bottom 4 side. While hodge is playing finals and developing around great players such as lewis, mitchell, ellis ect.

Judd has been better up to this point around the awesome wce mids, hodge has been in a rebuilding club and his best is yet to come, we will soon find out how judd handles being in a rebuilding club.
