Conor Nash has avoided serious injury after being subbed out of last week’s close loss against Melbourne.

The 23-year-old injured his quad in the final quarter, but scans have since cleared him of any concerning damage.

Mitch Lewis will also be unavailable for Saturday’s clash against Essendon after facing an unexpected non-COVID related illness this week that will see him miss training preparation.

The 23-year-old was initially fit and preparing to return this week following his hamstring injury.

Bit worrying what they said about Ned Reeves in that report.

"The return of young ruckman Ned Reeves - who has also missed the past fortnight with a dislocated shoulder - still remains unclear a fortnight after he exited Easter Monday before quarter-time.

The club is still waiting to see if the 23-year-old can regain his range of motion and strength before they head down the surgery path, which would all but end his season."

Hope that it's not the latter, would be a shame for Ned to be sidelined for an extended period just when he looks like things are starting to click.

What’s up with Hartigan? Hasn’t appeared at BH nor injury list for weeks.

Given downie, serong supposedly missed last week due to covid why isn’t club more transparent? Every other club lists players out due to H&S protocols etc.

Had knee injury he picked up at box hill hasnt played since
He played against Casey on Sunday!

He hasn't been training with Kosi again, has he?

That's just a more articulate explanation of "we'll see how it settles" to me.
