Hird to have his say

he asked Corcoran to organise a meeting between Reid, Robinson and Dank to try to get them back on the same page. Does that sound like he was trying to exclude Reid?

So everything has to be approved by Reid but as soon as Reid objects he asks Corcoran to persuade him to forget about his objections and let the program continue.

"The closed circle of officials within the club were careful to ensure that even the club doctor was not made aware of it".

how is it rewriting history? Were you at Essendon in 2012?
It does appear to be distorting the truth. CAS findings state Weapon reported to Hamilton and Hird - a factual point not contested by the players. This cute 'org chart' takes some trouble to avoid reflecting this.

Robinson oversaw the program and reported to Hamilton. Hird obviously had a say in its development and probably was updated at times, but I cant see why this made him more responsible than the other two I mentioned

Were you there that you actually know that?
Dank may not have reported to Hamilton. He may have reported to Hird. That would explain all the texts.

Dank was directly under Robinson - who was under Hird.
Coaching staff, players

No. If you read the text he asks for Corcoran to arrange a meeting which included Reid. IMO he wanted Reid's issues with the program to be addressed in order for the program to continue in a from that met Reid's approval.

If Hird wanted Reid excluded why include him in the meeting?

Hird was annoyed when Reid stopped the program, he learnt his lesson. Its funny it was only Hird Dank and Robinson that were at the player meeting where the consents were handed out. How anyone can think Hird was not in it up to his neck is blind. If Reid was at the meeting this whole thing does not occur.

IT IS ALL 100% BS Mxett

Para 15 of the findings, part of the agreed facts, states Robinson reported to both Hamilton and Hird.

The distance is not so great.

I'm split as to whether this latest effort is Hird brand protection or publicity for his forthcoming whinefest.

The timing is so appalling that it infers the latter.

For the sake of his club, surely the best thing to do is STFU now.

On March 9, they reportedly had the following exchange:
Hird: "Good work today mate, the boys were up and about, we have a lot to work with.
Dank: "IVs start next week and Thymosin with Uniquinon. We will start to see some real effects.
On April 3, Dank detailed more substances:
"We have cerebrolysin, we will re-oxygenate and re-circulate the brain. We will also be getting Solcoseryl."

But hey, nothing to do with Hirdy, right? Dank was rogue.

It's interesting.

Is James Hird a liar?

a few texts isn't proof of anything really. No I wasnt there but has Robson or hamilton contested the common understanding that they were in charge of Robinson?
Again - Hamilton and Hird were in charge of Robinson.

To shut him up and let them continue doing what they were doing.

I wonder what changed at this meeting that allayed Reid's objections. Or did Reid continue to object but was ignored as the findings appear to suggest.

The text messages were part of the circumstantial evidence used by the CAS to reach their decision. They are relevant.

Once. He also said he didnt use it every other time. I'm not saying he didn't, I'm saying I dont think Hird believes he did

What did Hird think the thymosin on the consent forms designed to aid recovery was? Thymomodulin?

Great org chart on Page 9 in today's article. Hird is as geographically far away from Dank as possible. Very symbolic.

The rewriting of history has begun.

Great point!

Surprised Jobe Watson and a few other players aren't in between as well.

Lets break this down.

1. Who had Dank and Robinson over at their house to discuss the set up of the Program.
2. Who met with Charter on the GC
3. Who was verbally told about issues regarding the program by Dr Reid
4. Who was frustrated the program was stopped by Reid
5. Who was Dr Reids letter addressed too.
6. Who was involved in the meeting regarding the consent forms with players.
7. Who was receiving texts from Dank regarding the program.
8. Once the protocols were put in place who did Reid have to give recommendations regarding substances

I had nothing to do with it though, it wasn't me. I just did gameplans and coached the blokes to kick the ball backwards 95% of the time

According to one source, not the club

So he invited his friend to a meeting to shut him up?
What common understanding? Can you point out where that is?
It's been reported for 3 years that Hamilton and Robson were Robinson's superiors
