Hird to have his say

It's the visual message that Hird and Dank were so far apart that they would hardly have spoken, it would all have gone through Robson/Hamilton/Robinson - when what really happened in practice was that Hird and Dank met and exchanged texts regularly about the program.
they all may have met regularly, we dont know. Certainly being Robinson and Dank's line managers, Robson and Hamilton should have been all over the program, not really Hird

how is it rewriting history? Were you at Essendon in 2012?
No, I was not at Essendon in 2012. The whole article is just an exercise in blame-shifting.

The picture of the org chart just seeks to place James as far as possible from Dank.

James is just trying to pave a path back to credibility. This article might convince some, but anyone with a rudimentary recollection of what happened will not be sucked in.

sucked in by what? Tell me what he said that you disagree with

No matter the structure, the hierarchy, the org charts - Hird was the head coach. Hird wanted the program. Hird oversaw the program. When Reid temporarily halted the program, did this raise a red flag in Hird's mind? No:

On January 30, Hird text to Corcoran: “No stress but need to organise a meeting with you me Reidy, Danksy and Weapon the day you get back. Reidy has stopped everything which is getting a little frustrating. Need to get your United Nations skills back into action.”

His article today is just an exercise in buck-passing.

I guess by now it was always going to be a slim chance that Hird would actually have a bomb to drop. His article today seems and exercise in passing the buck and the most notable thing about it is the absence of any mention of Shane Carter. Be interesting to see if he turns up in Part 2.

If Hird starts mentioning Charter, Charter will start mentioning Hird.

I believe it is reffered to as mutually assured destruction

Hird wanted a program, Bomber, McCarthy, Goodwin, Robson, Robinson and Corcoran probably did as well.

Rubbish Hird oversaw it, that's a complete guess. he may have been one in a group that set it up but it wasnt his role to manage or run it

MXett - who do you thing oversaw the program? I believe that Hird pushed this program. He certainly would have had input from the others you mentioned. Who knows, maybe some of them wanted the program more than he did. But as head coach, he was in the position to start or stop the program whenever he wanted. A string of text messages attest to this.

Robinson oversaw the program and reported to Hamilton. Hird obviously had a say in its development and probably was updated at times, but I cant see why this made him more responsible than the other two I mentioned
