The way Melbourne is playing this in the media means you clearly only want top 2 10 picks. We currently have 0 and can't offer a future first either due to already trading a future third. Hogan hasn't publicly stated he wants to come only, Mahoney has only said "he'll entertain the idea only if the price is right". You're asking more than we're willing to give.

This trade will not go ahead and if it does then we have sold the farm for it.

You didn't answer the question as to why he needs to go public. If his manager knows and the clubs know, why does he need to go public?

Also, he had the relevant medico's check out his foot etc. and gave him the all clear. So why then would it be something to worry about? And if so, why bother about getting it checked out if you're going to worry about it regardless?
