For the Sunday game if they are just naming a 26 man squad with an extended bench. It might just be Fox in for Gould. And maybe Mcinerney in for Sheather or Corey Warner.
I hate Thurs announcements for Sundays.
Its more about who is missing rather than who is in.

Extended bench of McInerney, Sheldrick, McLean, Co. Warner, Sheather, McAndrew, Campbell and Francis.

Honestly think it's the first time I've looked at an 8-man bench and had literally no idea who out of them will be playing. Could be any real (Campbell the only certainty.)
Jmac. Campbell. Francis. McLean.
Sub Sheather

Yeah I'd probably go with that. But Horse might be in a "I've had a gutful with you lot" mood and teach McInerney a lesson by selecting Warner instead, or McLean a lesson by selecting McAndrew instead.

(Although I don't think McLean needs it - he was good last week.)

I thought Stephens cracked in hard last game. Weird he was the one scapegoated especially given he survived a few rounds where he didn't do much.

Why Cunningham is still a thing is beyond me. Maybe he's doing the tough work no-one sees? Perhaps it's a case of the rest of the Sydney defence being inexperienced?

Jmac wouldn't be announced as a return then demoted.
Imo.

You can argue that Stephens might have been dropped for the games before GWS but I thought he was involved enough last week to keep his spot, not sure why he was the one getting picked on shrugs

I make it a habit to look out for players playing roles that might be unseen or unappreciated, so as to not come in here all guns blazing ripping some player's head off undeservedly.

However I cannot understand what Cunningham is doing in this team. He loses players at stoppages. He's a quality tackler and really brings players to ground when he wraps them up, but he's only averaging less than 3 a game. He's not even playing the Nick Smith, make-your-opponent-vanish lockdown role, and when he does he's trailing his opponent and allowing uncontested chest marks.

My best guess is Horse wants his experience and leadership down there in the absence of Rampe, but sheesh... not cutting it for me.
