Then it didn't really need saying. Seemed to be suggesting its imminent. Of course it's coming at some point, hell we got some last season.

Just being excited for the show. I haven't read the book in ages so don't personally know what exactly is coming next or what is imminent.

I didn't read it like that.

The "book" isn't like the books GoT was based off either, it's a loose collection of stories told by one person's POV.

Yes it's based off Fire and Blood, which is a history book about the Targ's reign from other people's POV.

It covers more than what HotD will show though, starts around 300 years before GoT if I remember correctly.

It's not a novel like the regular GoT books.
