How are you Cats fans feeling?

Interesting to note the join dates of most smug cat fans who are posting here. Just happens to coincide with the time they started to look good. Where were they previously I ask?

Not on bigfooty?

I'm glad the Saints made top 4 and wouldn't be disappointed if they made the GF. I don't think they'll do it at our expense though.

As above. How good/lucky must Saints feel right now:

Dear FootyGods
In form Coll V 3rd bottom team - I'd like a loss please. What? Okay, done.
In form NMelb V 4th bottom team - Can you organise a loss for Roos as well please. Sure, anything else?
Oh yeah, if Adelaide wins against the 3rd best side in comp on Sat would you mind asking Essendon to tank so that we can win by a lazy 100 or so?
Well, we don't think so, you might just have to get that job done yourselves.

ok...2 things annoyed me today.

1. the final is a Sunday and i now can't go (for the second year running) because i work:mad:

2. If the horrible does happen and we lose....it's collingwood the week after. I'm suddenly feeling quite sick!:(

Maybe the Cats will win.

The point is the team who most wanted to meet Geelong, got there.

The Saints self-belief and great form have skyrocketted them from mid-table early to fourth spot. They beat several finalists along the way, winning eight of the last ten matches.

Geelong, through their spokesperson and coach, are sounding particularly arogant. The Saints are eager and energetic and want this. Geelong just seem to be playing for their reputation. The Saints have nothing to lose. Geelong have everything to lose. Especially their "invulnerable" status.

After the match the question marks about Geelong will be voiced and the Saints will be considered a genuine threat.

Oh please, all Geelong need to do is study the game tape when West Coast thumped you!!

Would you quit this crap about Geelong's arrogance?

They have lost one match all season. They are confident for a reason.

I am very happy to be playing the Aints next week. I personally love reading your drivel after each disappointing St Kilda loss.

Bookmark this if you please.

Geelong will beat both saints and pies so dont worry, but you will lose to the hawks in the GF ......:D

if everything goes right for the saints and, most importantly, we kick straight we're definitely a chance.

I love it, absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain. saints will be training the house down this week, if they believe they can do it and take every chance they get to attack we have the skills to pull it off.

everything has to go right though...and I'll be the first to float the 'shock' inclusion of the G-Train...;)

Arrogance can be mistaken for confidence. So true.
Cats fans have the right to think they'll smash us. Last time we played them they rolled us by 10 goals. Add to that the fact they've lost only once this season. They have every right to be confident.
Good time to be a cats supporter. :thumbsu:

Nothing to lose... yeah, like losing a home preliminary final.

7 goals IIRC...

They have every right to be confident, they are the benchmark.

But we are there, and it's a 2 horse race.

Game on

Good job of keeping the lid on :). Hope it's a good game, unaffected by officials. Cats should win, but I doubt it will be a thrash job.

This won't be a thrashing I don't think, Saints have improved a hell of a lot since we lost to the Cats by 40 earlier in the year.

Hate to pop your balloon champ, but so have we. We played you early in the season when we were out of form and missing Ottens.

Saints will be competitive for maybe a half and then get pumped in the second half.

I think we'll see a pretty open game, saints will want to kick a lot of goals and not try to strangle it too much...it's proven not to work and if Nick, Kosi and Milne fire we're a chance...Kosi could be the unlikely key...

Feeling awesome.

Going into a finals series at 21 and 1.

$1.40 favourites to win the flag.

Four best 22 players to return to the team.

Couldn't be better! :thumbsu:

Yes, as delighted as I am with today's efforts from the saints and some reasonable form for the second half of the season I think Geelong fans have some pretty compelling reasons to be feeling quite buoyant about their chances.

But we're better than we were. And in a 2 horse race there's hope. ;)

I feel great. Been looking forward to squaring off against the Saints in a final for years.

Can't they their side worries me much. They will give a good account but as long as we negate Reiwoldt we'll be fine.
