Just heard on the radio(reported by Caro Wilson) the AFL is set to award Freo the 4points-but get this allow the Saints to keep their 2points?
Since when is an AFL game worth 6 points-unfair to the rest of the competition.

Imagine if the Saints make a home final over the West Coast by those 2 points.

This would be opening up a really bad can of worms.

load of bull crap, if they do that it means every game teams have lost they will have to be awarded two points also, or face another "enquiery".

they have probably just made this up to get people going.

the main issue to come out of this isn't really if Freo deserved the win, it is whether or not the umpires continued play deliberately after hearing the siren.

or an interstate team loses the right to host a home final due to those 2 points?

Can the AFL really aford the fallout from this with every other AFL club and their supporters.

If true, the 14 other AFL Clubs will come whinging to the AFL and we have an even bigger problem on our hands. 4 points Freo, 0 points St K OR 2 points each...no other alternative...or I won't watch any footy match this weekend bar the one at the 'G on Sunday!!!
