That report was very cleverly written to avoid giving hints to competitors about our precise drafting strategy and keeping certain information confidential, as it should be and at the same time giving us interesting and informative info on the trade week machinations and an idea of our aims in the National Draft... really appreciated.

I am hoping that the club will be prepared to keep us better informed about the duration of contracts instead of being able to pick up the occasional item in press reports...I do acknowledge improvement in this regard lately but I am interested in the duration of all contracts...the would be poachers seem to know when their targets will be available.

Time will tell whether Lisle, Zorko and Hudson meet the expectations outlined in Kerr's analysis, but the rationale behind the decisions all make sense to me.

Serious question.

Does every other club's members and supporters get such a comprehensive post-trade week report from their list manager? Or more to the point, does any? That report is awesome. Presumably we'll get another break down similar to that come the national draft (as we did last year) - open (to the extent possible by the looks), honest and utterly brilliant initiative.

I think someone might need to negotiate an earlier start to the season I'm that pumped, and Dr Kerr sounds like the man for the job.
