Since 1974 when I was in Grade 1 (yep, I'm an old fart by BF standards), North have contested 17 grand finals.

VFL/AFL Premierships

Played 9 - Won 4, Drawn 1, Lost 4

Pre-Season/Night Premierships

Played 8 - Won 3, Lost 5

In Total

Since '74 when I started following North - we've played in a total of 55 VFL/AFL finals with a 61% winning record in September.

Elim Finals - 7, Qualifying Finals - 13, Semi Finals - 12, Preliminary Finals - 14, Grand Finals - 9

We might not set the world on fire off field, but are used to winning on it.

Crap seasons like 2006 hurt. No wonder there was so many bitter and twisted North fans on here the past 12 months.

Fingers crossed, back where we belong (i.e. playing footy in September) again in 2007.
