Cripps
Curnow
TDK
McKay (maybe)
I think your harsh on Walsh
I know his down on form at the moment but I’m sure he would get a wing/bench position at all clubs.
McKay would playing as a second ruck third tall fwd

Making any 23 is pretty tough when you talk speciality positions. Like Gawn is still one of the best rucks going around and would fit on most list, but I dont think he makes it on North's list over Xerri anymore.

For the Lions I reckon these would be the most likely:
Neale
McCluggage
Andrews
Dunkley
W.Ashcroft

Then there's a bunch that would likely make most lists but a few teams might prefer what they already have:
C.Cameron
Lohman
Starcevich
Ah Chee

Charlie Cameron is in the best 23 of any team easily.

I'm assuming what we're talking about here is trying to slot a player from your side into every other best 23, one at a time. If so then I'd say 9 or 10.

If we're talking about how many would fit into any other side if we were jamming them all in at once then I'd say 6 or 7.

Certainties...

Heeney
Mills
Warner
Gulden
Blakey
Papley
Rowbottom
Lloyd

Ones I'm not 100% on...

Melican (There are quite a few sides with 2 better KPDs but he'd most likely slot in as the 3rd tall defender in most sides)
McCartin (Same as above)
Cunningham (Underrated and probably one of the top small defenders in the league. Would probably push the 22nd or 23rd best player out of most sides)
McInerney (Decent outside mid and probably better than most teams 20-23rd best players)
James Jordon - Best tagger in the game and now racking up good midfield numbers in his own right. Confident he'd push out the fringe players in most teams for a spot.

McKay gets a game because of his wage, genuinely not entering any decent forward line lol, Melbourne might make use of him and thats it

I'd say 8, possibly 9 or 10

Hearing Lewis state blues only have 5-6 got me thinking about Freo and other teams.

For freo I’m pretty confident
Brayshaw
Serong
Young
Jackson
Treacy
Bolton
Amiss
Pearce
Clark
Ryan
(10)Would make any best 23
Not Amiss ( in his current form ) the rest yes

slim picking for the tige's (currently speaking)
Lynch - injuries aside and up and about.
Lalor - if u want a rookie with huge upside.
*swing back around in a year - Smillie hopefully will be added.

For Richmond:
Vlastuin
Lynch (if fit)
Balta possibly

If Seth Campbell keeps his form up also a maybe but it's too early to tell if he's reached a new level or just had two decent games hitting the scoreboard, but I reckon he's got a bright future.

I don't know if all those defenders make Hawthorns team, not that they aren't really good players its just right now we are stacked down there and it's more about the mix rather than individual talent right now.

For example can you play Barrass and Pearce along with the other tall options that run through it. It's very line ball who you go with out of these 2. Maybe you shuffle players around but would make us very tall and slower which goes against the game style we play.

I don't think Ryan fits in along side Sicily one or the other, his strengths don't really add anything to the mix that we don't already get from sis. But even if you tried who drops out, Scrimshaw? His kicking is very important to our counter attack Ryan doesn't replace that. Battle? Weddle? They all offer something different to the mix that Ryan doesn't.

Clark you would make room for but his spot is currently a mix of Amon/Impey/Scrimshaw. Would fit in the best of the 3 dockers mentioned.

I think people are confusing "most" best 23s with "any" best 23s. If adhering to team balance and actually having to displace a like for like player. There will be at least a couple of teams stacked in a various area of the ground, where a fair few players mentioned so far would not be walk up starters.

Freo have closer to 5 or 6 players than 10 or 11.

Tried to be conservative -

Neale
Andrews
Starcevich
McCluggage
W Ashcroft
Charlie Cameron
Dunkley

Zorko next closest, but feel like you can only have 1-2 unaccountable HBF so not sure he's in all teams. Lohmann, Wilmot, Ah Chee decent shouts (Ah Chee as the defensive forward who can still kick 3 on his day) too.
