Jake kicking goals for essendon (lol) does not mean he is suited for a flag team. I would be surprised to see GWS playing Jake in finals unless he radically changes his approach.

I don't know if all those defenders make Hawthorns team, not that they aren't really good players its just right now we are stacked down there and it's more about the mix rather than individual talent right now.

For example can you play Barrass and Pearce along with the other tall options that run through it. It's very line ball who you go with out of these 2. Maybe you shuffle players around but would make us very tall and slower which goes against the game style we play.

I don't think Ryan fits in along side Sicily one or the other, his strengths don't really add anything to the mix that we don't already get from sis. But even if you tried who drops out, Scrimshaw? His kicking is very important to our counter attack Ryan doesn't replace that. Battle? Weddle? They all offer something different to the mix that Ryan doesn't.

Clark you would make room for but his spot is currently a mix of Amon/Impey/Scrimshaw. Would fit in the best of the 3 dockers mentioned.

Clark was AA squad Ryan was AA 1st 18 and Pearce our captain
But i understand balance and how we value our own.
Also it’s one player in isolation not multiple at the same time.

Sicily and Moore are definites in the best 18 and potentially D'Ambrosio on a wing and one of Newcombe or Day in the middle while the other is on the bench.

Two years ago definitely. Now bit harder to tell, I reckon a few teams would be maybes. For example I'm not sure he plays over Stengle at Geelong and they also have Miers and Close.

There's a few in there that I dont think would make the Lions team.

Im not sure Quaynor plays over Starcevich. And Im not certain that Maynard or Perryman make it either.

Midfield I dont think Pendlebury or Sidebottom make the team this year. Crisp might be a maybe as well.

Small forward we are pretty stacked already so not sure any of them make it. Ironically McStay would be what we are missing most (but I dont know if he plays at Adelaide for example).
