culcain just dont have enough depth to be remotely competitive, players like jeremy grove just arent up to 1st grade standard, i am sure they will be swinging the axe down there, time for a new coach maybe???

So Lockhart lost again on the weekend. Do people still think they are top 3 material? I did hear they had 4 or 5 out but from what i've been hearing they have good depth which means they just werent good enough on the weekend. Was anyone at the game?

And what did happen in the cul jindera game? Cul have any out? Or just outclassed? I thought they would of won.

Culcairn were terrible. Logue and Murray showed nothing up forward and a lot of their name players were very ordinary. Donnan is being wasted in the ruck. New kids will need time to adjust to senior level.
Jindera were fitter, faster & better coached and it would be hard to see the lions improving enough to be anywhere near the doggies this year.

Massive call about Jindera this early mate. Definitely looking good though at the moment, but only two rounds in. I think everyone has definitely under-estimated them though (me included).

What are peoples thoughts on not playing this weekend. I saw the Tallangatta league is playing Sunday. Maybe a split round with a Friday night game (Shit weather though) and an Anzac day fixture???

stupid not playing this weekend.i think every other league is playing. wot makes us so different. bout time the lords of the league stopped trying to justify their position by making crazy decision. but then it doesnt mater wot we want they just do as they do like letting the maggots and renie in when nobody wanted them.

Culcairn will bounce back. Checked them out in the pre-season and they looked good. Very young side yes but, they move the ball well and quick.

gee after reading all the stuff on here about the saints and certain players getting pumped bigger than ben land's chest.its only guys and the sides you have played will be contenders for the wooden spoon.the saints should take it one week at a time.i hope they have a great season and will knock sides off.the test is this week for both grades.also I heard Jack Notham is smoother then ben land on the dance floor?????

well the saints didnt do to bad.it was a better than getting flogged by 20 goals in both grades.but in the end they are still higher then the money spending lochart.will they play finals who knows but the will go ok.the saints that is.

So i take it from the last few pages the saints are on the improve but not quiet there, ala Carlton maybe? Surely thats nothing but good news for the comp, though im a little confused about the above comment, "still higher then Lockhart", is this referring to ladder position? because quiet frankly they never have been and going on recent results still arent.

interesting mail there switch i'll be sure to keep an eye out for him to confirm your statement. Be good if he does although not sure if North will clear him to Jindera particulary after last season.
