My sources have told me about a big story coming out of Channel 9.
Allegedly after filming Footy Classified last night - Hawks coach Alistair Clarkson hooked into Hutchy!
Hutchy was involved in a controversial interview with Hawks captain Richie Vandenberg that took place on 3AW over the weekend. The nature of the interview implied that Richie was not in the Hawks top 22 players, an allegation made by Tony Shaw earlier in the week.The Shaw comments were played to Richie during the interview. Clarkson was not happy with the way in which Hutchy conducted the interview.
The exact details of last nights confrontation are yet to be confirmed. Tonight on 3AW Dwayne Lamb and Gerard Healy were told by Caroline Wilson, a witness to last nights confrontation, that Clarkson used ‘innappropriate language’.
Caroline Wilson claimed that there were several women in the studio and that ‘there are certain words’ that men should not use in the company of women.
In a separate story Clarkson was heard using a four letter word directed at a journalist last week, after a press conference.

I don't care how Alister Clarkson conducts himself, but his reaction tells me that the comment is very close to the truth. The Hawthorn team has now left Richie Vandenburg behind and he cannot add to the team by his inclusion. McGlynn etc will take the Hawks to the next level. It is tough for Richie and for Hawks fans because of his contribution when the Hawks struggled.It really reminds me of Matt Larkin...he was great for the Roos for about 190 games but then the coach had to leave him behind as the Roos powered to the top. I was really disappointed that he was dropped, but it was the correct decision. Hard to drop your captain but Richie Vandenburg's time has been and gone.

Both are tough and work hard but i think Ozzy's skills are much better than Vanders. Vanders may have leadership edge?
Offer each player to the 15 other AFL clubs and i am positive that all 15 would take Ozzy without hesitation!

Not to mention they play different roles! Ozzy is a back pocket while Vanders position has been filled by Sewell and McGlynn!!!!!
