I Don't Want Judd...

If one of the 3 happen

1. We give W.C Fev & pick 3
2. We give W.C Kennedy & pick 3
3. We give W.C picks 1 & 3 (I know that this is the most unlikely of them all)
We can not give up too much for him. Sure he is the best player in the land when he is FIT, but losing Fev will decrease the value in getting Judd. There would be nothing better than seeing Judd bursting out of the centre square at hitting Fev on the T I T from 30mtrs out.

What happens if Fev is not there? Our whole structure would have to change. Who would be our FF???

Waite would definitely have to play Forward, Fisher would not be our 3rd best forward and you will find that he will get the likes of Glass, Hudson, Scarlett and co. We will have to endure another year of fatso Whitnall.

The only viable option that we have is giving up picks 3, 20 and Bower or Fisher. Loosing Fisher would make me sick in the stomach but if W.C would be happy with those pick (which I’m sure they won’t be) and giving them Fisher would get the trade over the line then I would be a happy man.

If it’s more than that trade I feel that we would be paying way too much.

Who knows maybe Pick 3 (more than likely Morton) will turn out to be just as valuable as Judd, he may very well turn out to be a dud, but the likelihood is that we will be giving up a Proven A grader, one in which can and will win you a game off his own boot, and potentially another A grader. All for Juddy.

We can not sell our farm for the one bloke.

If Judd is not obtained I will still be delighted with Picks 1 & 3 and seeing Fev being the leading option out of the goal square for Murphy, Gibbs, Morton/Palmer, Simpson, Walker, Russell, Carrazzo and co to kick it to.

totally agree Marc Smurph. It's probably not news to most BF posters but i just read the article in the HS about Judd being sidelined for 4 months. Doesn't this raise alarm bells with anyone? I say we stay away from this if they want anymore than pick 3 + Bower. I would not budge from that

Fev is a pretty poor example around the club and probably has about half the time left in football that Judd does. Would you prefer a role model like Judd for players like Murph, Grigg, Hampson, Gibbs etc....or Fev's and his inevitable dummy spits? I am not totally against the idea of trading him. I think Judd has a lot more to offer the football club on and off the field.

I am a Collingwood boy but I agree with you, Judd is not worth it, you are better off with picks 1 & 3 and keeping Fevola.

he was second faourite on brownlow betting until he got injured.. he averaged 27 touches before he was injured.. he lead AFL in contested possessions.. he is a star.. and JUST turned 24.. you guys would be STUPID not to throw everything on the table for him... if he was a melbourne player coming to perth, id whack it all on the table for him.. don't forget there have been a lot of draft picks that have turned out duds!! especially ruckman like kruezer where he is bigger than everyone else in under 18 then when he comes up against a cox or sandlilands he suddenly think geez they got 15 kilograms on me and in sandilands cause a good 10cm..

I'm sure Juddy wants to do the right thing by the Eagles, but I doubt that Woosha saying Judd will go to the team WC want will help the relationship.
