I can see it now - all the Magpiephobic tossers who haunt these boards - many of whom support pathetic rabbles like Richmond, Essendon, Carlton and the like - poised at the keyboard ready to give to us with both barrells after a Port victory. But whats this - Bucks goes forward and drags in a hanger - slams through a sausage. Then - can it be happening - big Ant drills one onto the chest of the Ice man who goes back and glides it through dead centre. Hear that beautiful silence!!!!

15th position on the ladder is what makes you "rabble".. compared to our current 5th spot I think that makes us a fairly decent side.

mathematics not your strong point. 15% above 9th and 21% above 10th position and three games clear..... true they have three games to play, but who really thinks they are going to win 3 games, and we lose 2, with enough percentage to topple us?

**** happens.... west coast lost to us last year when we were bottom and they were undeated on the top...

hows about you look at the ladder, where are our teams respectively come the end of the season ????
 
you've had a pretty easy draw and few injuries to KEY players.

a finals contender would have beaten Port easily with all their kids in, but you struggled and were very lucky to win.

Hahaha, Macpie, I will admit I'm glad you won as I tipped you and I am a chance to win a tipping comp but that aside, it was a very unimpressive effort yet again against a team who are far from a top 8 side.

Australian football ... indeed all high profile spectator sport ... would have died 100 years ago if it were not for the fact that supporters of clubs are in the sad habit of "clinging on to the hope they never had".

Don't try and tell me you've never done that with your club. If you haven't then you're not an Essendon supporter.
