I was pushed out of Collingwood: Shaw

Love Shaw always have but he was the problem even his best mates have said it.

Like alot of guns over the years got a change made the most of it and credit to him.
No argument. His younger days are well documented. He's also said Leon told him he needs to be leader when he arrived. I think it might have come as a shock.

Shaws coaching record was poor. 4 seasons with a best 10th place finish and 11th,13th and a spoon

From an outsider perspective i thought Pies managed his departure as a favourite son well enough - called time on his career with 6 or so games to go on season and Shaw did right thing by club by seeing it out with respect.

I laughed out loud.

I thought it was very well known at the time that Buckley wanted Shaw out and that they didn’t get along, particularly after the Port Adelaide final. He seems to have grown a lot in his time at GWS. Not unhappy with the trade though.

Young Brayden was picked up by the Pies under the father-son rule at pick 32 in the 2003 National Draft. Hampered by ankle and shoulder injuries, unfortunately Brayden never managed a senior game and club and player parted company at the end of 2005.

It was only for so long they’d hang on to him. He was bound to be pushed out.

This is news how? Yes he was pushed out of the club. For repeatedly acting like a dickhead and being a source of disruption at the club.

He's happy where he is and we have Taylor Adams back fit and getting close to his best footy.

Happy families.

In all seriousness though, he says he’s matured as a person. Buckley has matured as a coach since too, so wouldn’t you think just like he got a second chance, if Bucks was to call him, he’d deserve one too from him?

Former Collingwood player and premiership star Heath Shaw has opened up on how he was forced out of Collingwood. He says that certain people made sure that he was pushed out. He also opened up on his dislike of Nathan Buckley, saying that he wouldn't even answer the phone if Bucks called him. He added that there were other individuals at Collingwood that he also wanted nothing to do with.

What do you think? Was Shaw forced from Collingwood? Was he the problem, or was Buckley?
