You agreed with Fadge that Owies would be ranked 30-35th player on collingwoods list, and then revert back to 2023 premiership team. It's the classic fallback for most of you pie posters. Can only go off current form, but I could name a minimum of 15 players worse than Owies on Collingwoods 2024 list which would debunk any of yours, or Fadges theories on that rankingWell two of them missed half season through injury, Bobby Hill admittedly had a unusually bad year and Shultz couldn't fit into the team structure for multiple reasons mostly we had zero cohesion all year. It's literally a one off year let's see if owies ever scores more than any of these guys again? Besides Elliot cause he will retire soon. When we are in full swing/inform like the previous 2 years he wouldn't make the starting team. Do you honestly believe he does if we had 2023 form and if so who would he replace and why?
I stopped reading at Shultz. To be fair he probably would be we we got a lot of small forward. Jamie Elliot's, Shultz, McCreery, Bobby hill ECT he wouldn't get in above any of them, he'd be as useful as a Ben Crocker for us.
I stopped reading at "to be fair"I stopped reading at Shultz.
Doesn't seem accurate since you responded to the full postI stopped reading at "to be fair"
Not many accuracies around this neck of the woodsDoesn't seem accurate since you responded to the full post
So just to confirm...As of 2024 which of these players are better than Owies and Kennedy?Players ranked 15 to 20 for Carlton would be 30 to 35 for Collingwood.
So to add them to Collingwood's list, it would make it 0.5% better, but by Carlton trading them out, it makes your list 7.5% worse.
Remember, they were good enough to play 47 of a possible 48 games at Carlton in 2024.
McCreery isn't Injury prone just had a really bad and unlucky year and Elliot you would argue is but is 3 times the player owies will ever beThey are injury prone?
Half of those players either are, have been, or will be better players than Owies and Kennedy. So just to confirm...As of 2024 which of these players are better than Owies and Kennedy?

In the strongest era we have seen in my time watching AFL/VFLYeah true. That Dogs side were good enough to make 3 prelims in a row. Far better
So you believe that if all of those players were fit and available and on the same list together, they would all get selected in the senior team before Kennedy and Owies.Half of those players either are, have been, or will be better players than Owies and Kennedy.
Have been:
Cox
Markov
Frampton
Will be:
Macrae
DeMattia
Allen
Jiath
Ryan

I'd keep all of them on Collingwood's list before picking up Kennedy and Owies. (Noting Richards is no longer on our list)
Fadge there's delusion then there's this. Not a single one of those players is better than Owies or KennedyHalf of those players either are, have been, or will be better players than Owies and Kennedy.

Yep just wait for it, a pick in the 50's will be better than whoever we pick at 3.Probably thinks their 1st pick this year will be a better player than ours
Sad really

Could have been GWS vs Carlton GF if the umpires actually knew the rulesCould of been against Carlton too if they didn't shit the bed like a 93yo quadriplegic the week before

2017 draft:Yep just wait for it, a pick in the 50's will be better than whoever we pick at 3.
What does Motlop have to do with Pick 3?2017 draft:
Carlton: pick 3: Paddy Dow.
Collingwood pick 39: Nathan Murphy.
2021 draft:
Carlton pick 27: Jesse Motlop
Collingwood pick 52 Harvey Harrison
Carlton is more than capable of screwing up another pick 3. Does the experience of history mean nothing to you?
