Ireland clearly already planning their "Mad Tuesday" aka St. Patricks Day.

Just to underscore how baffling Craig Young's non-selection is:

In the Scotland vs Ireland series last year, Josh Davey took four wickets @ 27. Young took nine @ 15, more than anyone else.

In the tri-series in January, Davey took six wickets @ 12.3. Young took seven @ 12.8.

Davey took fifteen wickets at the World Cup from six games, @ 20. Young took none from none. Why did he not play?

Some fan facts that a mate reminded me about, from this position onwards any rained out match the highest seed team will proceed, except for the case of a rained out Final. Both teams are declared joint winners.
Well given all finals have reserve days, it's unlikely. And if both days are washed out, that's the fairest way to go about it.

21.10.2 Quarter Final

If a quarter-final is tied, abandoned or if the match is a no result, then the team that finished in the higher position in the Pool stage shall proceed to the semi-finals.

21.10.3 Semi Final

If a semi-final is tied, abandoned or if the match is a no result, then the team that finished in the higher position in the Pool stage shall proceed to the final. 21.10.4 Final

In the event of a tied final, the teams shall compete in a Super Over to determine which team is the winner.

If following a tie, weather conditions prevent the Super Over from being completed, or if the match is abandoned or a no result, the teams shall be declared joint winners.

Obviously his non-selection isn't based on form.

So for all those who prematurely complained about an Ireland QF as it would be an easy win and wanted to go see the Aussies get stiff opposition.

Happy now!!:D... Not that your priorities were well placed:straining:

we better not lose now:oops:

hahaha that would be so funny to see some smartarse actually do that.

It's happened before

Herschelle Gibbs was denied a record fourth consecutive one-day international century by a wide as South Africa beat Bangladesh by 10 wickets and wrapped up the series at Benoni.

The South African opener looked certain to reach the milestone until Alak Kapali bowled down the leg side and the ball scuttled to the boundary for four extras.

Wait he understands English but can't speak ito_O
It common, you can understand the language, but it just gets confusing when you try to speak it. It's like me and Hindi; I can understand it, but when I try to speak, it comes out with a mix of English, Gujarati (state based mother tounge) and Hindi.
