A great day for NZ cricket, winning the Womens World Cup and beating India in a test match in India for the first time in 36 years.

I only just checked this but the NZ women have a 3 match ODI series in India starting on Thursday. Got to be one of the worst planned out series given what’s happened this weekend . I thought having the WBBL so close by meant that the players would be cooked and unmotivated . This has to be right up there with the scheduling of the ODI series for men’s England when they won the T20 World Cup in 2022 and when Australia won 2023 ODI World Cup then had to play India in a T20 series straight after.

Not sure if it’s a UAE song or where it’s from. They played it throughout the SA v Aus game.
