Cant believe SA's only wicket with the new ball was a run out. With Dale Steyn and co. I'm sorry but that is weak. Morkel and Philander are and have always been overrated.
Lel k

EDIT: To be fair I agree to some degree on Morne, he's a bit overrated but I think he complements Steyn and Philander well as a bit of an unpredictable menace. Philander is a top bowler though.

I think they should sack him completely. Amla and the coach too. Maybe disband the whole cricket board. Maybe they should stop playing cricket in South Africa full stop, actually.
Disband the whole country I say.

India played well today, and have had a very good start to the tournament
It is the arrogance of Indian fans however that puts off alot of people from enjoying them play

As an half Indian I agree, however don't hold the team to a billion number supporters because their is more idiot supporters than an average Collingwood team, however they don't represent the majority.

Anyway even as a half Indian I'm going for New Zealand and Sri Lanka!

How bad is that stat that SA lose 75% of matches when chasing more than 260. Sounds like a stat from 15 years ago.

Yeah I agree, they have played very poor quality cricket, didn't even put up a good fight. Should stop playing ODI cricket.

But, can you blame them? They were playing the world champions after all. ;)

To be honest even with my New Zealand leanings, this tournament is Australia's all the way bar a MAJOR hiccup.

Home ground advantage unfortunately will sort the Kiwis out. No swing in Ausy.

The most awaited game of the tournament, South Africa vs India, if we bat first and score over 300 we can bat South Africa out of the game. Ashin and Jadeja can choke the proteas with our accurate spin bowling.

I would say your scenario is unlikely, but you were right about the Windies today...

Hi Speaker, I am right again. I have a 100% prediction record. I even predicted the India vs Bangladesh 2007 game right and got 5 grand

Losing a group game is almost irrelevant as long as you beat the minnows.
Not really, it determines who you play in the next round. Could be the difference between copping an Australia, or say, an England.

So far I've preferred matches played in NZ because they've mostly been dominated by bowlers. Thanks to Ireland for giving us the best WC match so far. Apart from that game, almost every game has been predictable and uncompetitive.

Vettori doesn't need swing to be effective, having a world class spinner is one advantage NZ has over Australia.

Southee and Boult probably won't be as effective here as NZ but are still good enough to cause batting line ups problems.

Australia will have an advantage if they make the final at the MCG but they might have to beat NZ over there in the semi to make it.
