How can all of you endorse your club so wholeheartedly when your board has showed the management skills of a stray dog. Such a weak effort in my opinion and a sad indictment on the club that they handled this so poorly.

What annoys me the most is people saying without aker our final hopes are gone and blah blah blah but they seem to forget that aker has 0 goals in his 2 prelim finals for the dogs and hasn't played a good final game for us. So what will he do this yr when his in poor form that will make us go further?

I agree with most of what you are saying boyds but Aker did play pretty well in the Qualifying final against us last year. His three goals in the third quarter I think it was really got you into the game.

The club made a tough call and thankfully, unlike other teams, it was only a year too late - not 5 years.

Geez, there is a lot of crap on the main board about the aker issue. Two minutes of reading was all I could stomach.

A lot of the posters bagging us under the guise of bulldogs supporters I had never even seen before. Would be nice if they could post once or twice here when we have a win

The leadership group is designed to a) Keep the players in line and b) be a voice to those above about issues.
Apparently your group cant do the former and your management doesnt know how to handle it when past to them. Aker was quoted today as saying Johnson was keeping things from him and smorgan couldnt even chat to him.
Dont talk about stuff you know nothing about, the head of our leadership group took the coach aside and said directly what the playing group were thinking. Thats what men do, whilst inverterbrate management is all cloak and daggers right up to the point when the dagger is slotted between your shoulder blade.
