Call me biased but outside a few dodgy non decisions each way I thought the umpires did about as well as you could hope in a final. Just stayed out of the way unless there was an obvious call to make.

yeah, maybe ... but there were some important non-decisions

Fook me I called Florent some names in that last quarter for not conceding a point and kicking from the area that usually costs us.

Also when will we learn the blind kick barely ever works. I think only once did it land in a Swans players hands unmanned. The pressure caused it but it’s a low percentage option.

Heeney also tried to move his opponent in the ruck in the last half so he could take possession and snap but it never worked. Had to give that up.

That’s my negatives and will leave it there.

Our pressure was better, our composure was better. Our ability to stop Collingwood in a thriller was better than about 10 teams.

Franklin was determined to contribute and he did. Some of his marks were beyond his usual output.

Our rucks taking it out of the ruck set up the win. Reid going down changes that dynamic.

Expectations have been exceeded already but F that pressure the cats into their worst.
