We copped it up the arse in a final by the umpires yet again and i just hope that the people who run our club have the balls to get to the bottom of this pathetically repetitave and predictable hammering we get every bloody time.

You know with Schwab, Dermie, Dunstall, Kennett etc I wonder how much this hurts us. The AFL hate us and give us the worst draw, the worst TV scheduling and the worst umpiring.

This is not being a sore loser this is the facts. Just once I would like to see us show up with an even draw and even umpiring.

I'm sick of sucking it up, it is a joke.

Hear hear. Yes, they were shit. In fact at one stage I was yelling "bring back Goldspink" but we played some dumb football too. Poor poor decision making and costly turnovers is what cost us the match. I find it really hard to handle because I don't rate North all that highly at all.
oh and....for the record, I thought the free against Hodge that resulted in a goal to North, was far worse than the Croady one!

I'm all for giving the umpires a spray when your team loses, especially during finals.

But I hate hearing how Hawthorn were robbed tonight and that North only won because of the umpiring. This is BS, maybe if we won < 1 goal, you might have a strong argument but we won convincingly.

Geeze, as I said I am happy for you blokes, but where was all this last week. I said then that you had the life sucked out of you early by the umpires when the contest was hot but now when it suits you out comes the broom. Was going to barrack for the Roos next week, but now I think I will cheer the Power.

Let's hope the umpires aren't going for a 010101 approach, because you will get no sympathy from me if you are shafted at AAMI.

You want to know what getting screwed by the umpires is then watch last weeks game v Geelong. 35 to 13 to Geelong. The umpires were brilliant tonight by comparison. And you dont have Goldspink to blame tonight.

Face it. You were bent over by a better team - not the umpires.

Last week your mob were second to the ball all day and deserved that freekick count. This week it was much closer in intensity, we were poor but we weren't as bad as you last week. The free count tonight was much worse than last week and it had more of an influence on the result.

All that said but you still deserved to beat us. Just a shame when it was looking tight that the umpires decided to hand you a couple of softies on a platter. Those two were what really get me.

Umpires were terrible and everytime we started to flow they killed us. The 2 goals (Croad for taking the arms out and the 50 against Smith) in the 3rd basically deflated our already tiring team and it broke us. We looked flat all night and got out run by a side that were able to switch off at qtr time last week as the Cats already had their measure.

We had to play out the entire match and seem to have paid the price.
