After 3 hours with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, I don't think it's the grand adventure MachineGames is pitching—it's just a fairly basic stealth game
It's visually impressive and made with a clear love for the movies, but its action feels surprisingly limited.

Interesting intro, I've been the opposite, couldn't think of a better developer to tackle Indy than the developers of the modern Wolfensteins.

But either way the fact there needs to be a disclaimer is ridiculous. But I mean ffs there are disclaimers about trigger warnings for the most innocent things these days

Most of the time it's mere 'is a nazi' vs 'exhibits traits of a nazi' - hardly worth getting pedantic over, they're both stains.
Speelling Nazi’s are the worst.
Yeah interesting. A lot of it stemmed from wanting more Wolfenstein. Plus, in my head Indy was third-person (a la Uncharted/Tomb Raider).
I do think the combat is the game's weakest part though, and like I said, at least on our podcast more in-depth, combat feels like it's not the focus.

You don’t have to buy and Xbox, just need gamepass on pc or if your tv has the Xbox gamepass app.
Unfortunately my pc can't run new games tried SW Outlaws to see if my rig could run it and couldn't even tho I had everything on low settings.
My only option is to stream via cloud

I took that statement as being just the mere involvment of Nazis in the game and not glorifying it, nothing to do with being Anti-Nazi (in line with current heightened Israeli and Palestinian conflict)
I agree though, it's odd - especially in a game with simulated violence, that a historical period needs clarification almost 100 years later after the fact.

Holy shit, absolutely brutal. These are targets WITH frame gen and balanced upscaling.

This is an id Tech 7 game with the previous being Doom Eternal which could punch over 100fps at 4K with max settings and ray tracing on a 3080... Meanwhile this is recommending a 4080 just to hit 60fps at 1440p (or 4K without full RT, even though RT is still listed so full RT probably means path tracing) with, WITH upscaling and frame generation.
Hopefully some can learn to stop blaming the engine.
I've got enough to play for now and early next year so this can wait until sometime after I get my new machine.

Doesn't seem to be a lot of hype for this but I like what I see.
If there is a lot of downtime like some of the previews say I'm onboard for that. Sometimes it's nice to just relax for a bit and enjoy the set pieces.
