India's tour of New Zealand 2019, 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is

The last few ODIs have been great to give the middle order some batting time, and they’ve generally done pretty well. From having a few issues to resolve I’m now worried we might be peaking too early! Not a lot going wrong atm and four months with the IPL in between is a lot of time for things to change with injury and form. Can’t ask for more for now though.

India's recent ODI tours:

Won 5-1 in South Africa.
Lost 1-2 in England.
Won 2-1 in Australia.
Now 3-0 in New Zealand.

In hindsight, Australia ended up competing much better than NZ have, especially considering that it was missing many first team players.

This one end up being the best Indian ODI side ever if it wins the world cup, atleast achievements wise. Still I love the 2011 WC winning side though, it had a kick ass batting line up - Sachin, Sehwag, Gambhir, Kohli, Yuvraj, Dhoni, Raina.

India won the toss and are batting first.

The teenager makes his debut. Hope he has a good debut. Shami rested for Khaleel.

Munroe dropped. Nicholls opening with Guptill.

You wonder if Munro took his dropping well? Heard he's got a wicked temper. Used to spend most of his time batting and fielding for Auckland just swearing at people apparently

That's why I was talking about sorting out your pitches mate. A little bit of swing and your guys lose their minds. Pretty much every batsmen playing out in front of their body or not playing straight
