by the way, even the 75kg he was probably lifitng seems a stretch for this pencil necked dufus.

Turns out he was just trolling.

Socializers

FFS I'm here to train.
I might grunt abit, sweat but that's because I'm there to lift.

People also need to put DBs back on rack between sets so everyone can use them at anytime - not just hog them for 10 mins

What annoys me (I work out alone and am very shy) is when you are stuck in between weights. For example, today I was trying bench to 30 kgs dumbells on incline. I tried to get them up and I nearly got them up twice but in the end I just couldn't :(. But I knew if i could get them up I could get some decent reps out.....

Ended up doing 28 x 10 for 3 sets. But still it annoys me, maybe next week ... I will get it :)

Other than that:

I don't like having things (wallet, keys, phone) in my pockets when I db bench, db shoulder press.etc

People that don't put dbs back when using them.

People that take their shirt off in the gym - especially to show off infront of other guys.

Crowds of socialisers and what not.

Then again I tend to work out late at night for exactly those reasons - that and I like an emptish gym

people who wear those stupid cycling gloves and hats on backwards in the gym.

d@ckhead who spend more time drinking some crap out of protein shakers than actually working out.

Id rather fail on deadlifts because of the weight, not because ive torn my hands up and they are calloused up good dont worry.. whats wrong with wearing gloves?

Ironic, most people don't know how to hold a barbell anyway and end up getting callouses the wrong way/in the wrong area.

Lol, quoting people and interpreting things the wrong way ftw :p. Internet < RL.

It was a general statement based on the discussion of callouses/gloves, or intended as such.

But hey, meow :)

Tell staff if it bothers you.

It can be difficult to notice before they're in the gym, so it's up to a PT to see them once inside and tell them to get out.

It annoys me, but only because I've forgotten my shoes a few times :p
