Is 100,000 members in 2018 possible?

Slightly over, but yeah.

Mind you, some of our members sit on those areas (not that the club gets much money for them)
I am an afl member and also buy an extra full gold membership plus Rioli club. Get your facts right. The amount of a full membership is paid by the AFL to your club of support from your AFL fees. So each and every Richmond AFL member pays the same amount to the club as the majority of full members.

If all the people who have been saying

' I have done enough over the years and Richmond always let me down and i wont buy a membership until they show me the loyalty i have shown them over the years'

Buy Memberships in 2018 - We will have 90,000
we should breeze past 90,000 , 100 might be a stretch for now but most certainly within our scope, lets not forget we ve sold out our last 5 finals at the MCG, who does that ?

The AFL pays 75% of a GA entry for every aligned member that turns up....Same rate 'away' club memberships pay.

Not quite the same as what the club could/would make if they could sell reserved seats in those prime spaces.

this

its been discussed on the industry board previously - the afl gives clubs what they consider the base level value of the "membership". with clubs now having variable pricing, it means for clubs with higher cost memberships they are getting a fair shortfall compared to buying direct

AFL membership is awesome for the individual, and makes the most sense for them.

clubs lose out however, because not only do they get a discount return on the membership, they miss out entirely on the premium value of that membership

Had our memberships renewed this week. We tried to see if we could get an extra reserved seat for my daughter (there appeared to be one free at the end of where we sit during the season) but couldn't get it. Apparently there is now a waiting list for reserved seats in our area. They said there is a waiting list for reserved seats everywhere. The only thing there isn't a waiting list for is a GA.

Just noticed I got billed for 2018. I am sure I rang them up to say don't roll over... (I like sorting it out after Christmas) and I rang them up to get a refund which I did. Noticed in the background another worker explaining the 15th Nov date as the rollover.

They will be earning their money in the membership department today.

As a thank you to the RFC i have decided to Purchase an Extra 2 membership to give to my cousin and his wife who are Richmond supporters but only go to 3-4 games a year and are not really crazy like us folk.

Hopefully they stick for the long term as members (its a Xmas present, We usually dont get presents for each other but this gift is probably more for the RFC)
lol

I bought my wife a membership about 5 years ago, even tho she has never been to a game (tho i saw the 1st hint of remorse when me and the kids were off to the gws final :) )
Tho if I start buying a memberships for my carlton brothers, she might get a bit crappy with me, especially as we are a bit tight with our house extension. Cant they show it as a purchase from Coles or Woolies?

I want to upgrade. Left a note via the website and requested a call back. Still nothing, that was like over a month ago.

They need to confirm non renewals of the premiums first

Pretty sure what I asked for they would make room for it or man than likely there would be room for 2 more. Like I said surprised no one has called back. Didn't want to call at the time as new they would be under the pump.

what are you upgrading to? some (like 3121) were full up to begin with, but others (like premiership circle) im guessing may be having a boom in demand (ie more wanting spots than were free in 2017). For the former, you need exits to get in. For the latter, they may be waiting until they know final "free" spots before they tell all in the queue if they are in or out.

TBH I forget when renewals having to be in by, I think its end of Nov, but I wouldnt bet my left nut on it

I'm 3121 at the moment and want to be a coterie member. I requested a chat about all 3 posobilties for the Coterie memberships.

I have ditched my equivalent membership for Melbourne City and have some extra dollars to burn. Plus upgrading to the next level makes it a business expense through the many networking options.

I'd expect to hear something soon, ive heard demand is up for upgrades - inc with coteries

if you're worried, call membership - they are usually pretty helpful updating on this stuff when you speak to them

True. It's actually frustrating we won for this reason LOL. I was looking at an additional business expense regardless of how we went this year. Now I just look like I'm joining the bandwagon but in reality this was always my plan for next season and hopefully beyond.
