I just spoke with Ticketmaster for 20 seconds after being hold for 30 minutes!

Anywa the lovely lady says the only tickets available right now are behind goals on level 1 - she said definitely ( I even double checked that with her) the 3rd August they will release rest of Level 1 and level 3.

Good luck to one and all.

Thanks for the update.

HFC just sent an email saying level 1 and 2 are 'exhausted'. Level 3 on sale on Friday 5th at 9am.

Went on to Ticketmaster and it is still offering seats on level 1, aisle 27.

Who is running this shambles and how much do they get paid.

This Friday at 9am, level 3 tickets will go on sale.

Thanks Axe but I was told by Ticketmaster on phone on Saturday (even doubled check with her saying " are you sure!!??? the 3rd???!!") that it would be the 3rd! And level 1 and 3 would be released!!!

Never mind....

Ah shit might be staying home as I will be on a plane on Friday @ 9am GRRRR

Yeah, the twits have been giving out conflicting info. I was told it's the 5th by Ticketek and this lines up with the info from Hawthorn so that gives me some comfort. I guess we'll find out at 9am Friday.

If I just want to stand up I still have to buy a reserved seat right? That poindexter Demetriou and his brigade of turkeys really know how to reem footy fans.

At this point yes you will need a reserved seat. It is possible they will start selling standing room tickets closer to the game but as usual the fans will be kept in the dark until the last minute. Level 3 reserved seats cost the same as a general admission ticket ($23.75) so the only loss is that you have to fork out the booking fee.

The other problem is that your 'seat' remains empty while there are going to be plenty of others missing out.

Yeah exactly, that's definately an issue. I just tend to stand up is all... That way my bellowing doesn't give those around me the irrits so much I suppose.

I probably should've mentioned that I've got a silver 17 game membership. I take it that means jack all? Still got to fork out $23.75 on top of the $330 I spend on my membership a year eh?

this is the info the club emailed me they sent a text message today about tickets but seeing i already got my seat weeks ago i know i am safe

Frequently asked questions

I am a 2011 Hawthorn member with away-game entitlements (17-game, junior, MCC). How do I gain entry?
You must upgrade to a daily reserved seat through Ticketmaster. Please have your membership card ready as you will need to quote your 12-digit membership barcode number. Members will not have to pay for General Admission charges, however you will be required to pay any booking fees or reserved seat charges.

I am a 2011 11-game member. How do I get into Etihad Stadium?
Unfortunately you do not have any match day entitlements. A daily reserved seat must be purchased through Ticketmaster.

Is this match a replacement game?
No. The Club's four replacement games were Rounds 3, 12, 15 and 18.

Is there a dedicated Hawthorn area at Etihad Stadium?
Level 1, Aisle 6 has been allocated to Hawthorn members, however this allocation has since been exhausted.

Judging by the email from the club all you need to do is pay the booking fee to get a level 3 seat, since you've already paid for the seat in your membership. Have you tried getting onto the Ticketmaster site and make a booking with your barcode? Earlier in the thread it was mentioned that the 17 game memberships could buy the level 3 seats already, unless I misread it.

Ah, thanks for the info. I haven't got my membership card with me at work but I'll suss it out tonight.

Cheers.

Hello fellow Hawthorn Big Footy fans & members I apologise if this has been covered before but what is the limit of tickets I am able to purchase?

Got my tickets too!

First time I tried, could only get 4 tickets sitting together on level 3 - accidentally refreshed and tried again, this times got level 1 :)

Got 2 near front of level 3.

They only seem to be selling level 3 premium which is the front 6 rows. Maybe the release the rest of level 3 once the premiums are sold out.

Also still the odd seat on level 1 up the Carlton end.
