It happens all the time for Richmond and they need depth and better players

That 9 game winning streak last year, as enjoyable as it would have been for Richmond fans, it was actually a curse in disguise. It masked what was actually a failure and a backward step of a season. Then over summer they didn't make much effort to improve their list and they had that false hope carrying over into this year.

So there they are, in this position they are today. 2-4, 13th and with their coach in very, very hot water.
