Losing him not ideal, not being the captain I think I could handle at this stage.

this was well and truly come about because of the last few pages on BF, the classic "i got found out so i am sorry" statement.

the original tweet was from 2 days ago, seems a bit of a coincidence that it all played out in this threads timeline.
It blew up on twitter at lunch time today. He has offended a lot of people. Safe to say he should delete any form of social media he engages in as he is to irresponsible and immature to be using it. If there was any questions on him being captain their isn't any more. I like many others am not privy to what else he has done in the past but this act or words alone is enough to be stripped of the captaincy. I also think it will see him moved on regardless now. Can't see Noble or Fagan taking this matter lightly.

Some people are just idiots. Why would you ever post things like that, especially seeing as you're the captain of an AFL club, got lots of followers and fans and critics watching your every move, on the back of a successful launch of Women's AFL and encouraging more females to get involved in the game.

yer i saw all that JN, i was more talking about the deletion of the post and the apology coming fairly recently ie.today.
was the post deleted today? i thought it was, i may have been wrong.
The deletion was surely due to pressure being applied on the same social media platform.
Deleted only quite recently. Lixy_'s post was made when the tweets were still up there.

To be fair to Rocky, my female friends and I "rate" various blokes all the time. Not publicly mind, but if certain conversations were made public we'd look very misanderistic indeed.
I do it every Wednesday and Thursday on Channel 10's The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
Both men and women ... (not that I am that way inclined, I'm just trying to be equitable with my burning criticisms).

The club via Swann on radio today certainly haven't come out and strongly defended the rumours of rocky leaving or of them wanting to retain him. Most clubs would be pretty emphatic when discussing the captain of a club. Hmm.
