Holy shit this is hypocritical. Weren't you just yesterday commenting on how Langford and frost have rude mugs? Then I'm pretty sure the next five posts were about ugly footballers and coaches. Man you love to get on your high horse. Is putting a number to someones looks really that offensive? I mean it's okay to talk about ugly mugs and rude lids of bloke but a 3/10 gets not only you TBD but everyone up in arms?

As a general rule, men, and in particular Male footballers do not have their worth assessed by reference to their looks. When a person comments on the looks of a male footballer they are generally, commenting on the looks of that footballer.

Unfortunately women are often judged on their looks. Sometimes primarily on their looks, often solely on their looks, that is not Rocky's fault but it happens. Gee it gets to the stage that even female footballers have to put up with fans who suggest the only interest people at showing in their comp is due to fans thinking other than with their heads.

Accordingly when one comments on a womans looks, even if it was not intended (unlikely) it is feeding into that subtext, you are judging that persons worth according to their looks, and that is belittling to that person and to women generally.

Whereas I was previously inclined to give Rocky the benefit of (quite considerable) doubt this latest shambles has convinced me that he not only should be relieved of the capraincy but be actively encouraged to move on elsewhwere.

I think this is probably the baseline of where we are at.

If he stays, it needs to be completely on the club's terms - no captaincy, no leadership, absolutely clean behaviour and interactions.

Preferable would be to move him on and get good value for him now.

The absolute nuclear option, which is hopefully highly unlikely - get him gone at any cost.

Yeah i agree mate i think Rocky will see the writing on the wall now and see that his career needs a reboot somewhere else. If he stays he won't be captain. Losing the captaincy would be a massive hit to a guy like Rocky. The fact that his best mates Redden and now Hanley won't be at the club - i can see him going. Just hope we can get some experience back in because we are going to be so inexperienced.
